I didn't really think it was a DBZ thing, but I can see why they would have left.  The whole energy section was shut down

Is it revived anywhere?  I remember someone was sharing the content with us in a post called a real 100% true way to raise and develop your Chi.  Isn't that energy raising?  Will the one who started that post ever come back?
