Title: Balancing Energy Work and physical exercise?
Post by: WASD on March 09, 2010, 13:39:16
I just finished reading the Energy Work-part in Robert Bruce's Astral Dynamics and i noticed him saying that if you have problems after energy work you can do physical exercise which will drain your energy. That doesn't sound too good to me, draining your energy. Does anyone here know anything about that? Like if its less useful to do energy work right before physical exercise or just general information about balancing Energy Work and physical exercise.

If you overdue your energy training you can do sports or martial arts or something to use the energy. I always do energy work after exercise.

When I started out with some energy work I would get over hyper and be jumping and running all over the place ^^. I got to much energy, so exercise may have bee a good idea for me. I am thinking about starting it back up since I stopped doing it a while back.

Dear WASD,

Everytime I have a lot of energy on me, usually an impulse to do something such as going for a walk or wanking it off will try to steal the energy from me.
Resisting the temptations is the only way.

The more energy you hold, the more you must focus in order to sustain it otherwise you fall prey to magnetic equilibrium. Either you go against the stream or you swim with it.
The higher you go, seperating yourself from the standard, the deeper is the abyss you can fall.

peace

I think he's means to balance your energy by "draining" some of it. Like if energy becomes overwhelming or out of balance. It doesn't seem too many people have these problems, but if I go for a period of time without energy work and then get back into it, I have to take it slowly and not overdo it or I get all out-of-whack. I can get "antsy" and over-emotional, the smallest things will tick me off.

If you don't have these problems accompanied with energy work (many don't), it's nothing to worry about.

I disagree with a couple of things here: First, taking a walk. I find it can be great for building energy, especially in nature. I love going outdoors when I'm highly energetic, and in fact, keeps me balanced. And making exercise a pattern in you life in GREAT for energy building. Wanking it... I don't know, I guess it depends on how much energy you put into it.  :-P

2nd, I don't think it takes more focus to hold or store more energy. If anything, good flowing/balanced/cycling energy will help maintain focus and awareness and keep you centered. Now if it's all unbalanced with blockages, that might be a different story.
