Several books I have read talk about "earth energy", including a book on seeing auras which suggests moving on to watching the energy rise from the ground in places. It was suggested as a helpful way of finding power places near the reader.

I always do energy work barefooted. And when I'm outside, if it's not too cold, I go barefooted. The magnetic force of the earth is healing to us and can be blocked by the soles of some shoes.

Hello Members!
I was wondering if it helps energy work to first go outside and walk in the grass barefooted, or hug a tree, or put your hands into the soil. I do this sometimes before I meditate, just to get the sense of nature before I go into my room. It seems to help to relax me.
But does it actually have an effect on energy centers? Like grounding unwanted excess energy? Providing a more balanced energy body before meditation?
Just something I've been pondering...
