Energy body map?

Like you I've speculated that all the joints probably have energy centers. I've also been trying EFT tapping points.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is an acupressure (tapping instead of needles) system to clear emotional blockages. I've tried stimulating tap points and there definitely seems to be energy centers in those areas. (And direct energy stimulation seems to work as well, if not better, than physically tapping!)

Anyway, you can check it out at http://www.emofree.com/ You'll have to dig a bit, but there's tons of free stuff.

Also, try pressure points and sore/tender spots (usually means a gland or lymph node or something, I think)

-depressions under your collarbone
-sore spot on each side of upper chest
-sore spot on either side of body, below armpit, in line with nipples on guys
-beginnings of eyebrows
-bony ridges under and on sides of eyes

I'm being really general up there, and there's a few more. Just looking for stuff is probably great practice.

Good luck, and let me know if you find any interesting spots!

Whoops, forgot to mention how I personally go searching. I pick a likely spot and start stirring. If I eventually feel something interesting, or it starts stirring on it's own, I assume that there's *something* there.

Robert is quite clear about where to stimulate ie; joints, soles, palms.  Once the energy starts flowing, I have found that I dont have a lot of control as to where it goes (I'm NEW) but it seems to have a mind of it's own in that it knows where to go without me directing it's every movement.  I think, it goes straight for the areas of blockages in the body, or where it needs to get to work.  I personaly do not know where these blockages are, so even if I had a map, would not be much good (I would like to have such a map for general interest however).  So what I'm trying to say is that in the beginning, trust the energy because it knows more than you do about where to go.  Once you've raised energy a few times you will pretty much know where the blockages are, so then you can step in and assist with MBA - just stimulate the areas and go with the flow.

I was wondering if anyone knows where I can obtain a map of the body that shows not only the major chakras, but also ALL of the secondary energy centers and smaller supporting energy chakras.  I've heard that the Chinese have long ago drawn up such charts, and I'm sure other cultures have too, but is there anything more modern?

There is a link on this page that says 'chakra system'. They show all of the major chakras, and energy storage centers. This is the best one I've seen yet.
Just so you'll feel safe, the diagrams given on this site are based on Robert Bruce's work (i.e. they give him full credit for the chakra/energy center locations)

The reason I ask is that I'd like to stimulate every (or most) small chakras before moving on the the major ones, but I dont know where they all are.  Is there a general rule to follow, like all of the joints or something?

Assuming you have done very little practical work, my advice is to forget about the major chakras for the time being. Start with the T.I. exercises from Robert's book, until you can actually feel stimulation in the areas you are focusing on. (pages 135-150 in A.D.)
THEN, begin with pulling energy into the sub-navel storage area ONLY.
Continue with this until you can literally feel the energy being pulled into there. (this can take months so don't get discouraged)

Best of luck

P.S. Its good that you've read the book twice. Now stop reading about NEW and get your butt in gear mister! Don't fall into the trap of reading and not doing. Try setting up a time everyday (start with only 1/2 hour) for your work. Continue to do this until it becomes habit, then build from there.
(and never, ever give up)

Awesome, thank you all so much.

I know Robert was pretty clear about all this in the book, but I am a much more visually oriented person, and learn from sight pretty well rather than straight text.  And I just thought it would be cool to be able to see a map!

But yeah, thanks for your input, and if anyone else comes across any images of the energy body system, I'd love to see 'em!

Best regards,
Myfreaky

Hello all, I'm new to the site, and am reading Astral Dynamics for the second time.  This time I'm serious about starting New Energy Ways.  I, like so many others, have a million questions, but I won't try to cram them all into one post.

Robert, you said that you spent much time mapping the energy body, how about drawing it up and selling it as a wall poster or something?

The reason I ask is that I'd like to stimulate every (or most) small chakras before moving on the the major ones, but I dont know where they all are.  Is there a general rule to follow, like all of the joints or something?

Thanks,
Myfreaky
