Title: Cleansing Your Chakras With EFT, and an Emotional Surge
Post by: TheSilver on January 21, 2007, 01:04:07
Hey guys, I'm a new member of this forum as of tonight.

For any of yall that know of Emotional Freedom Techniques, the following link is a demonstration of how to clear your chakras by using the EFT method.

For those of you that have never heard of EFT, it is in essence a simple, easy to remember procedure based on the theories of energy psychology, chakras, and ancient+modern acupuncture, although EFT does not involve needles to perform.

EFT is based around the concept that negative emotions cause energy disruptions within your body, and by fine-tuning those energies back to normal, you can cure your physical illnesses by freeing yourself from negative emotions, most often permanently.

In fact, many users of EFT claim feats as far as curing cancer, solely by persistent use of the procedures, and sometimes by using them only once, for as short as a minute's time.

For the chakra-cleansing demonstration, go to the following link.
However, please read my story below it before watching the video.

Okay, I have a weird story of what happened to me just the other night after performing EFT on myself along with the guy in this video:

I did all of the procedures, and immediately after cleansing my chakras I felt a strange "open-ness" within me, almost as if I could feel my inner energy being free to move around and flow in and out of me.

However, within just a few minutes I felt a horrible feeling of deep-seated dread set into me, my stomach literally began to ache and feel sharp, physical pain. Immediately I felt horribly depressed, and had no idea why I felt so bad.

I do NOT want to discourage anyone from using EFT, as I have had wonderful benefits from it in the past, and this is the first time something like this has happened after using it. However, this particular time, I cannot describe the amount of emotional pain that was going through me. For nearly a few hours I felt terrible, physically and emotionally, while my mind just wondered what had gone wrong.

Well, I took a shower with the hope that I would feel better. Little changed.

I then went into my room and lay down with my back on the floor and my head on a pillow (as I often do to relax while listening to meditation sound tracks).

I lay there for about two hours, and at the end of it, I just felt amazing. I have no idea why. It was as if during that time of laying there all of my negative emotions and energy transformed into positive energy, and kept me full of positive emotional energy for several more hours, until I went to bed that night.

It's hard to describe the unbelievable negative or positive feelings I felt that night, but for the negative- imagine feeling hopeless beyond the verge of suicidal thought. And for the positive, imagine discovering that you have just lived out the greatest dream you've ever imagined. This is the difference in emotion that I felt.

If anyone would like to share experiences or questions involving EFT, balancing chakras, or a similar story of huge emotions appearing from nowhere, please post.

Or if you have any idea what actually happened to me with those emotional charges, please share your thoughts.

Hi,

I have practiced with EFT and have had some good results.  I would say it is as effective as the Sedona Method has been for me.

I have been using Holosync for quite some time and so have experienced the heaviness that your talking about.  I can only give you what I believe has been my experience and maybe you can glean something from it that will be helpful or at least make you feel a little more comfortable with what you experienced with the EFT.

Phraseology in EFT is of course, highly important and using the technique can begin with one phrase and continue to unfold new phrases to continue the process until you have a total clearing in an emotionally blocked area. This can take some time.  In the seminars I have attended for EFT, it has been my understanding that if you were really diligent, you could have some major clearings within a few months time and would probably only need to do maintenance in areas that were presently causing you problems, such as something that maybe happened earlier in the day that caused upset and you could phrase that out and clear it so there is never another build up like when you first start EFT.  I have had some major shifts where a big chunk of some emotional yuck fell off and it felt either really good or really crappy, until my emotional system re-balanced, if you will.  That doesn't mean I cleared the issue completely, but rather, some part of it cleared or shifted and it took a bit for everything to settle down into a new form or energy flow or at least, less of a blockage than what was there before, but not completely healed.  I think sometimes I have looked for instantaneous results and ocassionally I get them, but more often, it comes in baby steps :).   I think the idea of writing down what comes up as you do the phrasing is key.  Everytime you start a new session, look at your list of things and use that list for your new phrases.  Hope this helps :)
