Does it matter which of way to move your charka.
:?? Does one increase more what?
I read in a prana healing book that the chakra spins in both directions simutaneously, just like the sun spins in both directions. Spinning one directions absorbs energy and spinning the other way gives off energy. I don't remember which is which.....but you want to remember to balance it....
Hi Eliteobe777,
There's differeing opinions about the direction of the chakra's spin depending on what books you read, and according to some of those books, depending on whether your male or female, and what hemisphere you're in.
How you can find out is if you know someone who knows how to use a pendulum, they can dowse your chakras by holding the pendulum over each of your chakras and see how it spins, or if you can do this yourself - even though doing so is a little awkward.
What I've experienced from doing this myself is that mine alternate from clockwise to counter-clockwise, just like meshing gears.
I know some people have said that if they spin one way its good, and the other way is bad, but I haven't found this to be true.
How well they spin is the most important thing. A healthy open chakra will cause a pendulum above it to spin in good round circles. A blocked chakra will cause the pendulum to either barely spin at all, or spin in a tight elipse. This to me is more important an indicator than the direction.
Blessings,
James.
Mine too alternate clockwise and counter-clockwise, with root clockwise and the next one up counter-clockwise, and so on. Never used a pendulul to find out though; I'm going from mental imagery here (when I first did chakra work and visualised it without meaning to think of spinning, just opening. And when I mean to spin it I instinctively know which went which)
interesting. I guess I shouldn't risk it if I don't know it yet.
I go by the laws you can observe in simple ways. I dont think theres a lot of difference between the planet and a person; in the northern hemisphere water travels clockwise down the drain, so I do clockwise (as though I'm the drain). There's a few other personal reasons I chose clockwise.
