Any of you aware of the Crystal Bowls?

I've read 'Crystal Balls & Crystal Bowls' by Ted Andrews and it seemed interesting enough to buy. Any of you praticed with them for enhanced chakra-energy clearing?

Yes i have used Tibetan singing bowls in meditation to produce alpha waves they are lovely and actually was shown by spirit that sound is opening healing and cleansing . Mantras can open a vortex vibrations can open the human channel. My brass 9 metal bowl was 90$ My yoga instructor favours the crystal bowl it sounds the same but hers cost $450 here in Perth Australia . She uses it before Yoga class begins in our quiet meditations to open and calm . I feel on the  crystal one it is easier to sustain the wave for a longer purer sound without practice .
