Patterned breathing (1:4:2, 4:2:4:2, or something else) and physical relaxation can help. It depends on how things start out. Starting out slowly helps to keep balance. To an extent moving sensations to make them whole body can help, but my best results have come from 4:2:4:2 (the breath moves in and out twice as long as it is held in and held out) and relaxation. The relaxation is particularly needed in the region in the stomach, all the way up to the solar plexus. Depending on your energy situation, though, you might find yourself tensing in other places. I will have to keep watching this thread to see if someone can say something more helpful.
Yes it is possible. I do not have a lot of time to go into great detail right now. Basicly everything Tom said is correct, relaxing and breathing. You need to also be aware of your arousal rate. You can pull your sexually energy out of your genital area and move it to other parts of your body. The biggest thing is to move your mind away from physical lusting and ejaculating and concentrate more on the energy and sensations that you are feeling. Try being more sensual and loving. I think there was another discussion on this several months ago if you want to do a search. Added: I should actually add that what the book teaches is not delaying orgasm but delaying or stopping ejaculation. The two are different things and you CAN have one without the other. The goal is to have orgasms without ejaculation. Even if you still wish to ejaculate the non-ejaculatory orgasms are very nice, better than ejaculatory, and you learn to delay ejaculation. You will also have more energy by doing this practice.
Paying attention to sensations, breathing slowly, and staying the moment has helped me a great deal. With energetic development (through NEW, for example), over time, you'll start to have energetic/pleasurable sensations coupled together. They become the same thing.

To start off, you can lie in bed and focus on your sub-navel storage center. Pretend you're breathing with it, way down low in your abdomen. Eventually, it'll start to buzz and fizz with your breath and you'll know you're on the right track. It's basically the same sensation as raising energy via NEW when you sweep your awareness into the storage center.
If you're new at energy work, give yourself time! Don't force, just watch. It was a looooong time before I was able to feel energy.

I'm just wondering if any of the NEW techniques can be used to delay an orgasm in a male?
A friend of mine, occasionally (OK - i'll be honest - it's me, but keep it quiet!) would like sex to with his girlfriend to last a while longer. I'm not interested about going on and on for hours, tantra styleee, but I'm wondering if some of the techniques of NEW and tantra can be used to keep going for, a few extra minutes, at least...?!
