Title: Does age matter
Post by: Tom on July 18, 2002, 09:48:32
It all depends on the specific individual. Naturally, the sooner a person starts the better. That is more important than current age. Still, a younger person might have advantages in terms of hormone levels and muscle tone. We are all eventually going to reach enlightenment. An older person might have made substantial progress without specifically trying to gain enlightenment. Years of practice cultivating good mental states and eradicating bad mental states does not have to be called meditation, but it can create a basis for meditation that just having higher hormone levels and more muscle tone cannot match.

I had spontatenous OBE's a lot when I was younger.
Lately I can only have them if I induce them..and even then its pretty hard.
I do personally believe people under the age of like 14 have an advantage.
(Most of my spontaenous onces happened around the age of 8 actually)

But I'm 20 now
I definately don't think its impossible for any age group
I started trying to induce them about 2 years ago

I was just curious as to whether age matters in regard to energy. Will there be less blockages and less problems in general if your younger and more fit?
