Endorphin's and DMT

I was reading that the chakra system corresponds to endorphin glands in the body, and that the Pineal Gland (corresponding to the Third Eye) can also release DMT, a chemical with very hallucinatory properties. I was just wondering if there is a specific technique to releasing the DMT or if it will just happen naturally as I keep meditating on my Third Eye Chakra and stimulating it. They said the DMT trip can be as powerful as an LSD trip, so I was just wondering if anyone has experienced this and how they achieved that state.

DMT is a hell of lot more potent than LSD - infact, its one if the most powerful psychedelics know to man. Even more interesting is the experiences of people who have taken it recreationally. Their trips match near perfectly alien abduction scenarios, OBEs and experiences on the AP proper, and full blown mystical experiences.  The energy sensations they describe seem to match perfectly the classic 'vibrations' too.

by AP proper I meant the astral planes, rather than the rtz. I guess in Franks system this would be F3? My experience of LDs is that they are F2 in franks scheme? That is, they are personal constructs.

Just had a read through it and it touches on the possibility of mystical experiences being accessed by psychedelics, and also the similarity between DMT experiences and alien abduction experiences.

Purely from observation, I would say that certain Trance techniques do perhaps cause some form of DMT release. Due to the nature of trance (reduced sensory perception) even a small DMT release might have exaggerated effects. Similar effects can be seen from taking psychedelics and lying still in a dark quiet room, the effects are multiplied enormously.
Also, it has been suggested many times that NDEs, birth and death do see a release of DMT, and OBEs (including the vibrations) sound very much like the effects of a psychedelic dose of DMT.

I would definitely like to see more research into this area.

I have that book , I'd recommed it to everyone. Previous to reading it I knew a few people who take DMT in various forms, but it wasn't until I read the book that similarities with the OBE state and DMT experiences really stood out.

So is that all OBE/AP/NDE's are? Just DMT released from our brain? Wouldn't it be possible that that is all an out of body experience is? Nothing more?

It's a possibility, but we won't know until serious research is done into this area. Perhaps DMT creates an experience which is all in our head, perhaps DMT is a 'gateway' for a physical brain to experience non-physical realities, or perhaps DMT producing remarkably similar experiences to OBEs and NDEs is just a coincidence .
OBEs do hold some experiences which suggest it might be more than hallucination alone (such as gaining knowledge outside of ones immediate environment), but only research will tell us either way.
