Title: Energy body - causiong muscle twitches
Post by: auraseer on November 21, 2002, 11:49:00
Hi,
I have these aswell. Im sure other people do aswell. The best thing to do is ignore them. They are natural for a energy raiser.

I've witnessed that over last 2 years--been moving around the body.

Most recent flutterings involve anterior deltoid [shoulder muscle] and right eyelid.

OHHH, that must be why i am having muscle twitches all day long.  I was going to mention it to my doctor but it must because of energy.  I get it in my eye, my legs, my knees, my shoulder, my ankle, you can see the muscle twitching through my clothes, sometimes it twitrches real hard, and there are big muscles that twitch and i never heard of that, but now i know it must be natural.  Thanks

Every once in a while my right eyelid twitches periodically for a few days. I get a little in my neck/upper back as well, a bit more often. I'd just be gentle with yourself, monitor for tension, make sure you continue to breath.

At times I've been worried about overloading myself. For a while I couldn't do NEW because it'd give me headaches, so I switched over to some gentle qigong for a few months. No serious side effects yet after some pretty heavy work, on and off. (But I'm sure there's people pushing *much* harder than me.)

I've found stretching, pilates, (yoga?), or any physical exercise daily with NEW greatly dimishes my feeling of overload. I think the physical activity spreads the energy around and probably many other things.

All the best,

Mark

Also, in my understanding, here's what's happening with twitches, itches, etc.

Basically, uneven energetic development, which isn't necessarity a bad thing. Parts of the energy body are drawing harder than other bodyparts are ready for. Energetic sensation is possibly caused, in part, by energetic resistance. The twitching and sensations will probably stop as these areas catch up with other parts of the body. At least for the legs, you could try energy bouncing for a few minutes during the day, every day. Then the increased flow caused by falling asleep will become less and less noticeable as these channels "widen." (I think!)

I'm not sure if my eyelid REALLY twitches [ie, that someone can see it] but I definetly FEEL it twitching.

My right eye lid also twitches quite often at odd times.  It hasn't done so before I started energy work, at least not frequently.

It could be a lot worse. The bladder and colon both have large muscles in them which would be unpleasant to have getting twitchy. Compared to that, I'll take my eye twitches. No one seems to notice them. Accidentally urinating on myself would be another matter.

Please somebody help me i was doing a lot of basic energy raising from my feet to my sub navel for about 2 months solid, then i got this midnight attack it was like an anxiety attack felt real dizzy and nauseous, so i thought it must be the energy raising so i stopped totally - but i still get these darn muscle twitches throughout my body.  mostly at night and in legs how do i make them stop?? its driving me nuts.
