energy body/kundalini

Most nights after going to bed, without meaning to, I repeatedly tune into the energy body. It is most noticeable as a humming sound and pressure that I feel in my neck, even though last night it moved to my chest area for awhile. Often I feel the energy around the entirety of my body. Even when I meditate with the intention of tuning into my beingness, I'll become aware of my energy body and feel my body shifting. When this happens I become concerned that I might have one of those bad kundalini experiences people talk about. IS THIS SOMETHING TO BE CONCERNED ABOUT?

Another question if I may. A couple of nights ago I woke up and felt my energy body. I then exited my body and requested higher awareness now. Instead I flew around a city I had never seen it before. It didn't quite look like a physical plain city. It was brighter, cleaner, had florescent colors and seemed somewhat futuristic. I returned to my body and made a point of noticing that I was still connected to waking state awareness. But then after a little time passed I woke up and realized that I dreamed the above, including the room in which the waking body I apparently returned to was laying in. WAS THIS A DREAM OR AN ACTUAL PROJECTION?

I just looked around and saw that the subject relating to my "SECOND QUESTION" has been discussed on this board a number of times. Therefore, there is no need to answer it. Thank you anyway.

Any insight on the first question would be much appreciated.  :D

It is not necessary to be concerned about it. It sounds like you have a good thing going for you. I think that there are a lot of people here who would be glad to trade places with you to gain the specific situation you described. The only way to have a bad experience is to resist it. If you try to fight against yourself, there will never be a clear winner.

If you'd like to do something more purely physical, tai chi, yoga, aikido, or some other physical discipline would be a good way to go. Even conventional exercises like running, walking, lifting weights, and so on would be useful.

I wouldn't be too worried about it and if you do have some unpleasant experiences ask and just stop the energy development for a bit I s'pose.\

I dont think it is a cause of concern at all.  I too feel my energy body when I meditate. I feel it very strongy at my base, like a warm kind of pressure that my whole body feels, but is centralized at my base.

Raising your kundalini is a very deliberate thing.  If your not meaning to raise it, than I doubt its going to happen.    Just go with the feeling and explore it, tinker around with it a bit if you want. This would probabley make your more comfortable with the feeling, and not worry so much. Helps me when I want to project.

I cannot KNOW if KUNDALINI exsists, I haven't made a real study out of it, and don't intend to do so. But I see PATTERN here people interested in 'energy work' and start secretly hoping that once KUNDALINI will make them GREAT(or not, maybe you're really affraid like one can be affraid for shark). Including myself 10 months ago or so. I had dreamy thoughts; if I just meditate every day on chakra's, then within no time I become ENLIGHTENED whatever being thanks to KUNDALINI.

REALLY it's amazing how people imitate eachother in their words, you see this in schools. Like in netherlands, on elementary school they say goodbye as 'doei, then junior high they all say 'later'. Here alot say 'kundalini'.(generally speaking just drawing picture, of course not everyone that would be lie)

I have not studied it! But just because alot of people have written words about kundalini doesn't exclude that it could all be wild IMAGINATION.
