Lots of things could be happening...
It could be going to your Crown Chakra,
it could be just floffing into the air around you,
something could be draining your energy,
or perhaps it's some other thing I haven't mentioned.
Also, energy raising is like developing muscles.
You work out a lot it becomes easier to lift certain weights.
You do energy work a lot, it becomes easy to move energy around, thus the sensations don't seem the same.

practise makes perfect!!!
Since I have no experience with Energy or anything of that nature and decided to ask a question about what just happend to me.
Sitting in my Chair and I would squeeze my stomach and during this I would feel some type of "energy" build up in my head and it felt like it went out the top of my head thats what startled me.
What could this be?
Edit: What I did notice is that if I was to try this over and over the build up gets less and less intense on the head
