Energy Fluctuations with Death

Not sure on energy patterns around death, as have yet to witness it.

I'd say if your looking for where energy comes from, checking out the atom isn't exactly the best place to start.  matter is a form of energy, but not the sorce of it. Eg:

light=energy
sound=energy
matter=energy
electricty=energy
ki=energy
soul=energy
soul not= matter

Um, to try to find where it comes from would be kinda hard, like trying to figure out where the planet earth comes from?  It's been here for quite some time, so the source of it is quite old.  I don't think you even see the creation of energy at this point in the universe, mainly the change from one form to the next.  Probably would have to travel (assuming one could) back to the beginning of everything to find the sorce of energy.

If you wanna find where it is now, I'd look into the "aura cameras" and stuff they got out now.  I'm pretty sure they only read the bodies electromagnetic field and give a close estimation to aura, but I think the energy 'frequency' that makes up the soul is right above the electromagnetic field frequincy.  Aura sensing and thouse pictures usually give a slightly similar result.

I advise you find a good translation of the Tibetan Book of the Dead.

In Vajrayana Buddhism, the Six Yogas of Naropa (completion stage highest yoga tantra) are used to simulate the energy movements which occur at the time of death. The reason for doing so is that there is an opportunity at this time to reach complete enlightenment and to become a Buddha. Familiarity with the symptoms through practices during the day in meditation and at night in sleep will help with recognizing the opportunity at death. Lama Yeshe has a book called "The Bliss of Inner Fire" which is a good place to begin if you want to study this.

Thanks Tom. You always have good references, with solid experiance to match. I've been looking at getting The Tibetan Book of the Dead and I think I'll get it when I order books again.

Does anyone know of, or have any literature, on how our energy fluctuates as we approach and ultimately reach death? Which energy centers are more active, if any? Are new centers and paths of energy created as death occurs?

I'd really appreciate anything on the subject really. I'd love some references to Buddhic or other cultures. The reason I ask is I've been trying to pinpoint where exactly energy comes from. The universe, probably, but what in the universe? I believe it lies on a sub-atomic level and has something to do with the vibrations, electrons, or translational movement of atoms.
