I started doing NEW, I think you are first supposed to be developing your Feet And Legs, but what do you develop next? Hands And Arms? When do you develop your major chakras? How do you develop your major chakras? Are there other areas besides feet, legs, hands and arms that need to be developed? In which order do you develope all these in?

Tom

The idea behind starting with the secondary chakras is that their development will make things easier for the main seven chakras to develop. They are located everwhere there is a joint, which means that there are a lot of them in the hands. Not all of them are in joints, but wherever there is a joint you will find a secondary chakra. Your fingers and wrists and elbows are a good place to go after your toes, feet, ankles, and knees. Sometimes one side of the body will respond better than the other. The order itself is not that important or strictly set. At first you will want to work with the places which are easiest to feel and fastest to respond. When you have built up some practice, the next thing to do is to focus on the areas that are more resistant to stimulation. When you have worked through all the numb areas and have developed some confidence in your technique it is probably time to move on to adding your major chakras into your practice sessions.

thanks, but how do I stimulate major chakras? Also, I read somewhere that other places like the mouth area should be stimulated. Are there other places besides the mouth area that I should know about (besides legs and arms)? And when should I stimulate the mouth area?

Tom

The mouth is also important because putting the tip of the tongue to the top of the mouth connects the two biggest meridians of the body (acupressure, acupuncture, meridian meditation, etc.).

Major chakras are stimulated exactly the same way minor chakras are. Stirring, brushing, and so on. If you can do it to stimulate a secondary chakra you can stimulate a major chakra the same way. It is just that the secondary chakras tend to lag behind the major chakras and that is why Robert Bruce emphasizes them. If you don't do enough to develop the secondary chakras it will slow down the development of the main chakras connected to them.
