they weren't experiments. the government trained people to use ESP to spy behind enemy lines. we even rescued some captured soldiers and a general thanks to esp. after the public heard about it, the government got a lot of negative feedback as tampering with things they ought not to, so they closed it to the public. it still exists as a classified sort of thing.

The remote viewing program in use by the government uses your basic map coordinates.  Longitude/latitude.  They say, these are the cooridinates....What's there?

I though I am curious if any of the "ESP Ops" got a good boost in funding over the last year or so.  Bush seems like an "any means possible" kinda person.

lattitude/longitude is very vague with just the standard degreees. you have to go into minutes, etc., for a more detailed location, which i suppose the government would be looking for. i just wonder how, during training, they manage to use just two numbers to have a student pinpoint a very specific location. i've looked at online course and only seen coordinates consisting of two numbers, yet somehow you're supposed to envision a spot that isn't but a few acres in perimeter most of the time. strange..

Even I think the standard system of co-ordinates are used. But to pinpoint a small location, we would have to go till seconds.

Ok, now in ESP we get to know the co-ordinates an booom... we know what's happening over there, but can it be the reverse. That we are told what is happening and we have to find the co-ordinates (Just like a RADAR)?

Yes it is possible to revers the process.  Basically, from my understanding and experimenting, you would just open yourself up to either what ever grabbed you or maybe even a certain type of event.  From there allowing the scenery to build around you until you can pin point where it is.  

Standard longitude/latitude includes minutes/seconds and such.  A standard GPS tracker can give you you position with in a 3 foot or 1 meter range of accuracy.  It also is extreamly helpful if the individual has a great understanding of the system of location.  It helps to study global maps of a target area prior to.  However it is also possible to use street names and addresses.  If that is a system the individual better understands.

I asked this because someone in the 'General Metaphysics' claimed that he could locate people in his mind. I totally believed in him but I wanted to know that whether this comes under ESP.

ESP is Extra Sensory Perception.  So anything link telepathy, Remote Viewing, Clairvoyance, Astral Sight, Auric Vision, ect. ect. all fall under that catagory.  ESP is basically Metaphysics.

The only problem with locating a certain individual is that the individual in quetion may not want to be found.  This creates a conflict of wills.  Which leads to wrong information or no information.  An individual can cloud there presance from a RVer or a Telepath the same way they would block thoughts.

I doubt that.

First of all the person won't know that we are serching for him so he won't be in a state of intervening with our thought. Secondly, the person who claimed this ability said that he first came to know about it when he, his mother and his sister(I think), were playing hide and seek. So he just saw a Radar in his head which then located his mother and sister. Now in this game the hiders don't want the seeker to know about them, so the intervening thought would be maximum. But then too the person was able to find them with ESP, or whatever it's subsidiary name is.

So, what do you think about this. It may be that the intervening thoughts capacity has a certain level for each person depending upon his capabilities and practice. So generally, we can find a person who does not know we are finding him.

things i've read about ESP online confirm what cainam said. i've read from people that calimed to be in the military for using esp (which isnt unlikely, the government used to train lots of people) that the government puts telepaths in all the important buildings, ie cia headquarters, 'area 51', etc., and when someone tries to access the area mentally, they are blockedby the telepath.

the esp veteran went on to say that if someone tried to psychically attack that telephathic guard, by sending malicious, evil thoughts his way, etc., the psychic guard was trained to send back those thoughts which can apparently cause insanity in the worst cases.

i forgot the url to that site but i doubt it would be hard to find it again. i can't remember what all was there.. i just remember how the guy put so much emphasis on how you shouldn't try to spy in on government buildings.

im sure they would at least two so that wouldnt be a problem. it probably wouldnt be much different from a government security guard, only you arent physically protecting things. i might have to find that site again later..
