energy raising question for Mr. Bruce if poss

I have been really struggling with the energy raising as detailed in the book Mastering AP.  I´ve raised energy for years but never tried to bring it back down over the front of my body to fill the sub naval storage area.  I have always raised it from my feet straight through my body and radiating out my head and arms, as a conduit, not a receptacle.  Bouncing energy as in MAP is now easy for me, though it took practice to wake my spine up.  My arms and legs (and feet and hands) are very responsive.  For about a year now, long before reading this book, I´ve had spontaneous sensations on my scalp and forehead.  But I simply cannot get the feel for bringing energy down over my chest and into my gut.  I can get it over the face, but the front of my body... I just dont feel it.  I´ve practiced, followed all the suggestions, gone back every day to make sure the secondary systems are alive... but at best, I get one strong twinge in 50 tries, even assuming the sensations will feel quite different.

Today I became incredibly frustrated because Im realising that though the base center is now very easily wakened after a few days practice, the stomach is very stubborn (it grows warm and sometimes hurts vaguely  deep within but no sensations like the other parts of my body), & solar plexus pretty much nonexistant.  Heart yesterday had 10 seconds of strong very pleasant sensation like a globe turning very fast within, and strong exit-like vibrations, but today, nada.  Throat I felt nothing.  The anger and frustration I felt were waaaaay out of proportion to what I would have expected.  I mean, its really no big deal, in the grand scheme of things.

I am concerned that my torso, and particularly the front, is dead to sensation, and I´m frustrated that the 5 minute limit for each center is not long enough for me to loosen them up, yet the acute frustration I felt today (I was, unbelieveably, in tears) suggests that something is indeed happening, but what, or whether its safe, I dont know.  The peculiar physical ailments I suffered 2 weeks ago are largely subsided, but I wonder whether I am doing something wrong.  Maybe my energy is getting stuck in the crown, or somethign weird and detrimental.  I have no idea.  But considering the many years where I raised energy the "wrong" way with no negative effect...

Anyone have any ideas?  Help!  I dont want to take time off the program, because starting up again as I have a few times already costs me more in the long run.  I am sure that I am simply doing something wrong, or just need an added perspective on these sensations or encouraging them.
