Energy Technique

Hi

I found a technique on-line for raising my energy whilst meditating ..

It involves calling on the Christ conciseness (I think that's it) whilst imagining a giant Helix going over your body and each time it passes it gives you more energy, I let the helix pass about 5 times and at the time I did not feel anything worth writing down.
It was when I awoke the next day that I felt any difference I actually ached all over and I had a headache that was like no other headache I had had before. The aches and pains was similar to the ones you get when you workout for the first time after a long period of rest, so I am pretty sure that the technique works but the question is, is it a case of working to well ? and can someone overdo it with negative effects ? I do not want to pull a proverbial hamstring so to speak

I have a feeling that its totally natural and the more I do it the less the pain will become but I thought I would run it passed you all anyway just in case
If the technique is too advanced for somebody just starting can anyone point me in the right direction ?

It sounds like the visualization is something like a coiled string moving so that I pass through the center, if this is something I want to try?

Once you feel fully recovered from the after-effects of this technique, it would be interesting to see what happens if you do it again. My guess is that you will look back on this kind of reaction from a few months from now and wish that you could still get this kind of immediate reaction to confirm that you are getting results.

Yes it is just a giant spring that lowers over me and then goes back up again...

Once you feel fully recovered from the after-effects of this technique, it would be interesting to see what happens if you do it again. I know what you mean.
I am quite new to energy work so to speak, so I wasn't sure if I was doing something wrong or not and I think that I didn't want to open myself up to anything that I was not prepared for

Sorry Tom I didn't quite understand the top part of the post did you want the technique to try?  I can post it here if you want there is a bit more to it than I stated above, I just wanted to give a brief description

Yes, I would like to try the technique. It sounds like an interesting experience.

It is common to be physically sick after a sudden increase in energy, especially in the beginning. The good news is that it generally passes faster than if it had been ordinary sickness, and then there is a new clarity afterward. The more material which has to be scrubbed away, the greater the contrast is.

Here's the technique that I used

For raising your energies, think of the Christ Spirit as existing physically "above" your head. visualize it as a Giant helix (Coil or Spring) Now say, either aloud or in thought, "I am one with the Christ Spirit, the Christ Spirit and I are one." As you repeat these words three or four times, picture yourself rising up (while the Helix lowers down) and passes over you And don't be surprised by goosebumps or chills here

I actually got it wrong on the above post its the Christ spirit not conciseness and I cant quite remember what I called on (I think it must have been Christ Spirit)
Also I have seen a few variations on this method. One is to picture the Christ spirit as a Being or a ball of light above your head and you merging with him whilst saying the same as the above.. I have only tried the Helix method tho

Interestingly tho it says that the Christ Spirit is actually nothing to do with Jesus, or religion for that matter, and its not a 100 percent clear on what it actually is ..

It would be interesting to get other people views on this. Just to see if there is any similarities to my experience or if indeed this method is any good to the more experienced people
