Never attended any of their workshops but, just in case you don't know about it, you could check a website created by some old tensegrity members: http://www.sustainedaction.org/.

The only thing I know is that there are many brand new topics/technics that just suddenly popped up from nowhere, and Castaneda is supposed to have studied with some Qi Gong teacher in L.A.

I enjoy Carlos.

A friend gave me the link: http://www.prismagems.com/castaneda/

His insights are pretty deep and well-worth reading, but I have a hard time keeping my motivation up to continue reading some of the longer segments (Chapter 7+). His writing style kind of bores (definately not the right word) me at times. Sometimes I just want him to be clear, because I am certainly interested in doing "the work".

Nagual, that explains your name, you Don-Juan lover you! That specific site doesn't have Don-Juan segments in it, which is a shame because from what I have read of those parts, it is quite entertaining. Especially when he laughs at the girl for being upset...[8)]

When the first tensegrity video came out, I learnt both from the video and the book. I practised that over 3 yrs with one year intensively. It was beneficial at the time. It is doubtful that it can achieved some of the things the exercise are said to be able to do for you. Despite what substained action website said about him and his group, the exercise is all right. With hindsight and experience in the system and how it compares to other system experientially, I would not recommend tensegrity in general. Though I can see some people can greatly benefit from it, depending on individual needs at the time.

Carlos did spent more than 10 yrs learning Qigong with Howard Lee in which that was mentioned in in Howard Lee website www.thelightoflife.com

For those who is interested in these kind of exercise, I would say Howard Lee is a better bet then Carlos.

Hope that helps.

Hi PuffAddr,

You may find the following resource useful: http://www.cleargreen.com/english/tensegrity/index.cfm
Contacts and practice groups around World are listed as well.

A number of UK Tensegrity exponents and students attended Robert Bruce's Buckland Hall course last year. As good a bunch of people you could ever meet!

Also see the Concord Institute site for contacts: http://www.concordinstitute.com/

All the best,

Stephen

I would like to know if anyone has gotten into the Castaneda arena, more especially his Tensegrity type exercises, and if you have benefited from it.

I have heard pro and con about Castaneda, so don't really know what to think at this point.

Thanx.
