Is it better now that you have gotten some sleep, assuming you have slept some time in the past two days?

You can try a grounding exercise to ground your energy. That should help if it is energy related.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

Drepmore

ah thanks for your reply, yeah i cant hear the noise anymore thankfully it was driving me insane!

i havent slept brilliantly over the past while yet i've seen an increase in energy activity both in the form of seeing auras and feeling movement through my body.

Drepmore

as an update the noise came back this morning after getting 12 hours of sleep. it was pretty loud this morning although its no where near as loud now. the thing is now when i look at a wall fuzzy single pixels of light buzz on and off sporadically. its quite bizarre and i've never experienced it before.

does this sound familiar to anyone?

Hey Drepmore

The buzzing sound is always there for me, at times it can get very intense, a little scary at times.
Its seems to come from the left side of my head (ear) too.
I sometimes see tiny thin and bright electric blue light streaks, when I look at my monitor, and there is a white background on the screen...

Drepmore

ah im relieved to see someone else has the noise :D its gone again would you believe it but im sure it will return when i least expect it.

how do you manage to cope with it, especially if its continuous?

those light blue streaks sound pretty weird too, do you notice anything else abnormal?

Same for me, it comes from my left side, but it sounds more like someone breathing behind me. I first noticed it after my frist transe some years ago and eventhough the sound is less frightening and loud than at the beginning it's still there at any time if i try to listen (which i don't for it's quite unpleasing [;)])

The sound sounds like an electric generator at times.
I remember a long time ago when I was young, we used to live not far from one of those external electric generators, and the continuous hum that it would give is very similar to the hum that I seem to emit.
Thats what I assume it is.. the electric hum of our very selves..
Since we are electromagnetic beings.

The sound doesnt drive me insane, although it can be a little annoying at times when you want peace and quiet lol. Try not to let it get to you in that way. Focus on it, and use it as a tool to focus your attention on during meditation. It can take you to states of PROFOUND bliss and rapturous ecstasy. Think of it as a sign that you are advancing, not as an annoyance.

I now hear the sound ALL the time, I just have to sit for mediation in total silence at night and its already VERY loud in my head, sometimes it gets so loud so fast with a little concentration that it gets scary. I suppose its the fear of the unknown thats scary, and not understanding exactly, in scientific terms whats happening when I focus my energy like that..

Only once when I was much younger, about 14 (Im 24 now) I woke up in the morning and just sleepily gazed at my hand as it lay there. There was this hazy electric blue light about half an ich thick outlined around my hand.

But recently besides those strange electric blue streaks of light I see in the air, I dont see anything else unusual. They are very odd and have no idea what they could be.

I also get that strange twitching in my ear when I meditate and now even throughout the day... as if energy were moving through my head causing my ear to flutter.
First it started with the left ear twitching, but recently the right starts to twitch occasionaly by itself aswell..
Its reallllly weird how it starts to twitch totally by itself, I even got my girlfriend to film it on my Dvcam... I have no idea why it does that or what (if anything) it may mean.
Anyone else get that? I'd be interested to know.

Heres an extract from the Meditation Sangat, a yahoo group that I subscribe to, hope it helps:

The Inner Sound that Charms the Serpent Mind During Meditation

When one is initiated into the spiritual practice of Sant Mat, which
is called 'Surat Shabd Yoga' or 'Shabd Meditation,' one is taught how
to hear the inner Music and what heavenly Sounds are best to focus on
during one's journey within, the Voyage Interior.

Hearing this Heavenly Music can be blissful, can lead to very deep
meditation experiences. Only the Sound can charm the serpent-mind
into submission.

It is a Baptism of Sound that cleanses the soul. The Sound emanates
from beyond the planes of mind, matter, law, karma and duality. It
busts into the world of time and space to provide us with a Way of
Ascent. This IS the Path of the Masters. Hearing the inner Music is
an experience of divine grace. Merging into the Sound Current is thus
protection from the forces of illusion that encumber the soul, that
normally keep it tethered to a limited vision of existence dominated
by mind and matter.

The Audible Life Stream makes
the impossible possible,
the Unattainable attainable,
and the Inaccessible accessible.

The Sound eventually becomes louder and louder and begins to pull
the spirit up. This mystic Sound reverberating ceaselessly within us
lifts our soul above body-consciousness. At each stage the Celestial
Music becomes more and more enrapturing. When the soul hears this
divine Melody, it gets magnetized and attracted to it, and the soul
soars within. Traveling on that Sound, we travel higher and higher
to worlds of unimaginable joy. (Sant Rajinder Singh)

Drepmore

thats an excellent post and i'm sure you've helped a lot of other people too with it.

thanks [:)]

Drepmore

as i've mentioned in previous posts i've been following roberts guide to see auras and i've had a decent amount of success.

however last night i was meditating for around 40 minutes before ceasing. i then turned over and tried to sleep but couldnt for about 3-4 hours.

understandably i feel really tired today and i can strangely hear a whirring humming noise to the left of my head. its not really that annoying at the moment (touch wood) and it sounds quite similiar to the tones generated by bwgen or hemi sync.

it might be worth nothing that last night during meditation i felt as though i was gently touching myself in the center of the forehead with my finger but i cant really remember feeling much at the side where the noise is coming from. could this be a minor chakra operating? should i get sleep?

p.s. it might also be worth noting ive been mainly working on my third eye and heart during meditation, i find it pretty easy to shift my awareness to my third eye in particular.
