Fifth Chakra and Thyroid Problems?

This Problem is definitly due to a malfuntioning thyroid.  I will try and restore it to it's normal function.

Uh...let me clarify that. I know I have thyroid problems, they developed two years ago and I'm taking med's for it(11 pills a day YUK). The doctor says it's most likely something I will have to live with for the rest of my life. The symptoms the disease cuase are something I'm having a slow time dealing with.
My question is, if an over active thyroid can also cuase problems with the fifth chakra.
If it can, how do I know?
What can I do about it?
How closely do the chakra effect the body?
Can unbalanced chakra cause illness or does illness cause unbalanced chakra (which came first the chicken or the egg scenario)?
How does one know if illness is caused by problems with the energy body or something else?

All of these questions came about because my doctor says the meds are working(according to blood tests) but I'm still feeling the symptoms (of course the doctors solution to everything is eradicate the thyroid completely and take more med's of a different sort). Sorry about confusing you, to me this is some what theoretical anyway, but any ideas and input is very welcome.

hi there, im no expert on all this stuff, but i know enough.

The body and the chakra effect each other equally, with the chakra affecting the body and the body affecting the chakra equally, in a way a cyclic effect. you could think of it as like the way yin becomes yang and yang becomes yin, one effects the other.

My opinion is that the thyroid is effected by the chakra (possibly the cause of the condition)and also the thyroid affects the chakra, they are linked indefinately, so any effect (healing cleansing etc) on the chakra will have an effect on the thyroid and therefore an effect on the condition.

However dont take anything i say as a reccomendation, i dont know enuff about all this stuff (no rhyhm intended, maybe i should write poetry) to say what you should do, but it would definately be beneficial to you to look into it some more, ask the modorators or robert bruce himself about it, there are a lot of people who will tell you a load of rubbish so they can brag about there "energy 10000 level" or some rubbish, so be careful who you listen to

I have Graves disease/Hyperthyroidism. I was wondering how this can effect an OBE? I have alot of trouble trying to relax and sleep. If I have thyroid problems, is it possible to correct some of the distractions my thyroid cuases by working with the Fifth Chakra? Currently I have not done any energy work and am not sure how too or where to start.
Before I even think about chakras and energy work, how can the fifth chakra effect the thyroid? Or is it the other way around? Or better yet, can they effect each other at all? Also, I have never intentionally OBE'd before, it's always been accidently.
