Yippee Kiya!

Hey Donna, thanks again!

Well...funny how the universe works when you agree to work with it.
I put out to the universe the following statement, "I am willing to work for you if you would please guide me to do so..." And in the past 2 months, it has been doing exactly that!
I have connected with Genevieve Paulson, author of 'Kundalini and the Chakras: A Practical Manual-Evolution in This Lifetime' through phone conversations and have discussed my experiences in length on the subject of Kundalini energy. She confirmed that I am working with it as she knows it.
And now, the second step, which I thought was going to align this way, is the same connection I feel with the OOBEs.
After looking at the site you gave a link to, I already contacted a practicing meditation group in my area, (only 12 miles away) and I am ecstatic to know that I will have mentors now in channeling and maintaining the energy properly.
There are other syncronicities occurring as well, but if you know anything about anything, some things are meant purely for you, the experiencer, and not meant to be shared with others...with that, I simply say, "thanks to all of you who have welcomed me aboard in this forum. It seems you have helped me greatly already!"

Namaste

Is it wise to have Kundalini "induced"?
Shouldn't it happen more-or-less naturally when you're "ready" for it?

Hi Jacara,
Perhaps our greatest personal belonging is free will. I can only speak from my personal experience. Call this power what you will, kundalini, the Holy Spirit or whatever you are most comfortable with.It is the greatest tool I own for my own spiritual advancement, I would rid myself of every physical possession to keep it.
But if a person is not spiritually minded and not wanting to practive the advanced spiritual  abilities that come with it, then all must be considered. Choose with your own free will.

I understand that people from different religious backgrounds would call the same thing by different names, but from everything I've read on kundalini, it's not something that can be mistaken for anything else.  I don't think anyone would say that the "Holy Spirit" could cause you physical pleasure or pain, but that's a common theme expressed by people who've had kundalini awakened (along with, of course, the spiritual feelings).  That comparison confused me a little and got me thinking that maybe we're talking about two different things.  If the type of kundalini you're talking about isn't like the kind discussed in the other big thread on kundalini, maybe the below doesn't apply, in which case forgive me and ignore it.

I believe that, for myself, I'm not ready for it yet.  Partly because I need to prepare physically (it seems one has an easier time of it if one has good "grounding" skills), but also because I believe I'm not emotionally mature enough to handle something as big as that.  But will everyone know whether or not they're ready?  Sure, it's their own "free will" to choose whatever they want, but if that choice isn't an informed one, they can't be wholly responsible for the consequences.
Here's the best analogy I can come up with:  There's a place where people gather to talk about their insomnia.  Then someone comes into the room and sets up a table with free sleeping pills, with the instructions "Take them to get some sleep if you want, but don't take more than you can handle".  Most people take one or two and are fine.  But some people say, "I've got insomnia really bad, I'd better take five," and get liver damage.  One guy who's been drinking heavily takes 3 and dies (Who knew they'd interact?  No one said anything.)  Some kids think they're candy and eat some, and some of those kids never develop properly.
It's just a stupid analogy, but you get the idea; one shouldn't provide potentially harmful material without knowing who will get it and how they'll use it.

Sorry if I've offended anyone here, I just don't want anyone to get hurt at the expense of others' spiritual growth.

Hi all,
It's been a couple of days now since I re-upped this energy. At present I am very clear-minded, though some problems getting to sleep due to increase in energy.
I have been experimenting with this energy during meditation. It is much like Robert talked about, but in no way painful or harmful for me. To move the energy up from the bottom of the spine, I simply concentrate on it and move it with my mind. It feels like the diameter is about 3-3 1/2  inches. It "pushes" upward with some force, actually feels like organs are moved aside and rubbed against. When it reaches the crown chakra it feels like electrical inpluses exiting there. My hands are also more conductive of this energy in the palms.
I actually feel a little sore along my spine from the experience, as after the meditation to activate it I experience tremendous vibrations (this took a few minutes) from the tip of my spine to the crown chakra, this went on for 30 minutes or more. I was sitting in a chair, on the computer of course when I did the activation online. The "cool breeze" is indeed in the palms of my hands, and I can feel it above the top of my head. During the day yesterday, when I took a break from work I would concentrate on raising this energy and sending it up my spine, though it feels like a "tight fit", and it's presence is definately felt as a solid "tube-like" substance. It is becoming easier to control. I have been in a "very clear" state of mind and have been able to accomplish more in the last two days in organizing my work.
I like that they do "not charge" to help you raise this power, and that there are free meditation groups all over the world. There is one in Fort Lauderdale, not too far from here.
This has been an easy gentle update to the power I've held inside myself, that has helped me improve my spiritual abilities for some years.

Hi all,
I found this site nearly two years ago, and went through the meditation then. I have just finished doing it again (my body is vibrating violently as I type) so I will hurry with  this as I need time for myself now too.
I will till you that the first time this happenedto me, some 25 years ago, it was very powerful with great joy and a connectedness to All That Is. If you are not ready, don't do this!!!
