I actually found out about it from a friend. It's a long story but I'll tell it anyway because the alternative is working on my math essay. []

My friend gave me a Wicca website to check out because she liked the meditations on it, so I went. I did a few of them and was interested, so I kept poking around the page for more and found astral projection. That was my next big thing for a while, until I sorta got bored of it. Being out of body would be cool and all, but it didn't seem to serve any real purpose. I had heard on another forum (Astralforum.com - I'm littlepinkpenguin []) that you can fly and do energy blasts and everything in the astral world. I realized that was what I wanted to do, so I started looking for a way to do it.

I searched for Ki just for kicks - I'm a fan of DBZ - and was surprised to find out that the show actually has a premise. And here I am!

Actually, I'd always *known* that there was something like this out there. Been looking for it since first grade.

As for how it's changed my life, to be quite honest, it hasn't yet. But I've only been practicing it for around a month or two. I'm POSITIVE it will, though.

Actually, what's to say I can't? Who knows what's possible? Just because I can't doesn't mean you or Kakkarot or Auraseer or any other person can't do it. Or the person who created the TV show...now there's a thought...

It was actually about 10 pm on a friday night.  At that time I was pretty much doing nothing at all.  In a chat room I was talking about DBZ for some reason.  Some guy PM's me and we begin to chat for a bit, i gave him my AIM address.  The next day, he told me of people that were using the same type of energy performed in the show.  I always liked to imagine that it was possible, but never assumed it was.  This is when I first heard of it all.  I think that was December 15th 2002.

This is my story. Not that any of you care [!].

I was looking up auras on a search engine and found an aura site. It was full of info and provided a link to this place, Astral Pulse. I practiced with seeing auras and decided to see what NEW was. I read the manual, but I thought it would be like DBZ. I then searched for 'Energy Balls' and a search listing came up, but it was 'Ki balls'. So I searched for 'Ki balls' and found http://kiwarrior40000.com , then I started training [].

As for how it has changed my life, everywhere I see I can see Ki energy, that is the result from my Ki training and aura seeing. I also see a band of Ki around people now, also. AND, my friend and I chat about Ki an awful lot at school. AND, there is an explanation for a dream I had a while ago. But that is another story. If you ask for it, I will tell you.

I first found out about Ki when my friend asked if I belived all the stuuf they said on this link to a webite he sent me. (i dont know what it is now[]) then i read it and thought it was pretty kool! so me and him started training and then started to ask other peoople. Most of thought we were crazy but we didnt care!

As of changing me, its made me more patient, more open minded, and other things like that.

No offense meant, Auraseer, but according to your site, it's possible to perform Goku's Instant Transmission technique, along with other things I don't think are possible.

as you learn to do more and more, the line between possible and impossible blurs more and more unto invisibility.

i first felt chi back in ... (thinking) ... 1996? well, i was born in 1982, i first felt chi when i was 15, so, 1998!. ah-ha (the spring). so seven years ago.

as to how, well, i just printed out a page about self-hypnosis, and i went to my room to try it, and when i got into a trance i was bored. so i started messing around and eventually started pulling at something inside me that wasn't real. freaked me out, but i kept doing it for many years, experimenting with it and learning more about it, still trying to figure out every day whether i was crazy or not.

sometime during my martial arts training incorporating chi i started using a different energy. i didn't realize it was different for a couple of years, after i came to calgary and started doing research for a speech i was going to do in speech class about chi/ki. it was during that research that i realized that there was a large difference between ki and chi, and subsequently i couldn't do my speech because i didn't understand what i was presenting. so i did even more research and learnt more. the end. well, really not the end, just a stepping stone in a pond full of fish (that's a metaphore; for what, i don't know.[]).

so i started using them seperately, and together, and figuring out their individual properties and uses.

I first discovered ENERGY last year in december. I'm beginning to despise calling it Ki though, because too many people either relate it to a set of keys or they relate it to some story some punk at school told them about so that makes me crazy. Plus defining energy by name gives it confusion, as seen many times on the psipog.net forums. It's really all the same, whatever its name.

And about that part about the stories...back in the day I couldn't keep my mouth shut so the wrong people found out. One thing led to another and now im a nutcase!

i found out about ki when i was looking on dbz websites (THEY ARE COOL) any way on my  first ki ball attemp i succeded and eversince then i was hocked. i told my friend nick(dawnbringer) and he started to do it and he was pritty good(nothing compaired to me, but good):> some of my mates r none belevers like a gay boy called kane :>. 4 all of u who don't know me or who i am ley me feel u in, im the strongest most powerful person on the forum. i know this coz i can sense ki and to be honist im a bit disapointed with ur power levels. u call ur selfs ki masters ha don't ake me lath.

Hmm...I haven't really found out much about Ki yet, but I'm determined to before I determine it impossible. Actually, a while back, I saw on a forum (full of little kids) 'How to make a Ki Ball' It didn't have the fact that you'd have to train or anything, just you concentrate and put energy into your hands and can reabsorb it or throw it at stuff. He was mocked and jeered at (unsurprisingly). But I've always been interested in this stuff (although never being able to believe in it, so I searched for making Ki Balls and stuff like that. After seeing a few DBZ based sites where you can apparently fly and stuff, I stumbled upon this forum and this site, and started reading more realistic stuff. That was last yesterday. After reading a load of stuff I tried concentrating my energy into my hands, and at one point, I might have been able to feel the energy flow to my hands, and then flow back up my arms. I've been trying to control the energy since then, and I'm going to try and read more stuff about it. What I'm not sure of is what is true and what is cack.

Well, in DBZ I had heard Goku say that they do Ki Martial Arts. So once i had a brainstorm[8D] and i entered Ki in google.com and woah... I got a full documentary on it. Since then I started training in Ki and have found success.[B)]

Well, I have not found much changes but I think it has increased my strenght of patience.[]
