What is this??

If anyone has experienced this... sometimes when you goto sleep and one/both of you feet get this incredible uncomfortable sensation as you doze off which ends up waking you up... usually when this happens it'll do it a bunch in a row.. always on the brink of sleep.  

So Im guessing this is sort of energy issue as it feels similar to a kind of surge of energy going up from the foot to my knee or wherever.... any ideas?

I get the same thing, I believe, only its in my achilies tendon. Its a very strance sensation that keeps me from sleeping, even. Like it needs to move and stretch... I can't sit still when it happens. I think it may be psychosomatic... PLEASE HELP WITH THIS!!!!
