i would say it is a compression or concentration of the energy that is all around us and in every thing. you see everything, all matter and energy, is a form of the universal energy. When you focus ki, your are focusing that universal energy in to some form. i guess it's pretty versatile as the energy can take any from. It relates to superstring theory. you should check out super string theory if you wanna be blown away. it's like a scientific theory that cannot be proven itself, but proofs the existence of god and explains all sorts of other things, sorry i dont know a link but im sure there is plenty of sites, just search "super string theory" on yahoo, shouyld come up with loads of stuff.[8D]

Hmm. I always thought psi was a synonym for ki, chi, qi, etc. So is there a difference or not? Otherwise there two types of balls, psi and ki/chi.

As a matter of fact Ki, qi, chi, psi are all the same things ENERGY!!! They are not different. They are only used in different cases. Psi is used in scientific terms. Ki is used in spiritual terms etc...
