How important is energy for OBE?

If you have powerful vibrations, you probably have enough energy (but more always helps!) to get out of your body. Energy is very important for OBE or anything else paranormal. Moving physical objects is so common that there are words for it, telekinesis and psychokinesis. I do it almost everyday (to my psi wheel).

I do not think that energy work is necessary to have an OBE, but it will help if you do it. Maybe the reason why you cannot move beyond the vibrations is that you are focusing too much on them.

Beavis, can you move anything else besides your psi wheel?

well if u can move a psi wheel then u should be able to move anything because energy is not ffected my mass(weight) as master yoda said[]

I really appreciate the replies, and after a little more reading out of Astral Dynamics (if you dont have it yet you really have to get it its amazing) i have determined that energy work is pretty important to OBEs if you dont have the forseeable natural ability for easy exit, and
beavis- i made one of those psi wheels a few years ago and they do indeed work but
neo- i do indeed beleive that yoda is wrong on this one simply because i think along the lines of 'if you want to drive a bigger car you need a bigger engine'

and i went to a members page where he talks about the possibility of levitating while standing on top of a ki disc and it sounds kindof interesting but i have yet to find some strong evidence that a [physical] feat such as this is really indeed possible?

hey- the past month i have been desparately trying to leave my body behind and am trying to figure out why i cannot move past the powerful vibrations and rapid heart beat stage...which leads me to wonder if energy body work is crucial to get out of my body?

Also, on a side note, can someone with much experience and a powerful understanding of energies do anything to affect physical matter? Such as move a physical object?
