Hey, I get that too sometimes when my brow is really active.
Maybe it's the matter of the energy body being slightly misaligned (ie. loose) and that's why the brow chakra is felt at a different location.

Ever get similar feelings over your eyebrows? Ever have them extend through your head to the back?

I have felt energy there a lot at times. i think it is the lower part of the area at which we feel the brow chakra. I also feel 2 spots in the middle of my temples- i think i read somewhere that suggested bouncing energy between those 2 spots.
Did you try to mentally move the energy up?
Just concentrating there i feel a circle about 3 inches across centered at the point between the eyes -it actually radiates down my cheeks too. I guess i have never really stopped to localize the sensations.

Ralphm: Oh yeah, I get the temples as well. Robert's book places two centers at the temples.
Also the top of the scalp get all tickly and a similar sensation to the brow right at the top going down.
Frank talked about reaching down from the top of the head and after checking a site about the pineal gland&al this seems like a natural spot for an energy centre.

I agree with jilola - - - please don't conclude that since you don't think you are feeling things where you "ought" to be that you must be doing something wrong, or that you are "stuck".

Considering the location of the pineal gland (smack dab in the middle of your head!), and knowing the pineal gland is somehow connected with the brow, third eye, regular eyes, etc., it doesn't surprise me at all that a person could feel all sorts of things from the nose on up.

I think you've hit your brow center.  That's where it is . . . just where you are feeling it.

As for your other questions . . . they are a mystery to me!

Heh, I've got a "problem" with my energy work... Usually, when I try to concentrate on my brow chakra, I get the energy feeling at the upper part of my nose, or right between the eyes. I've began to notice that this area is the easiest to "activate" for me, it does so when just thinking about chakras or energy work. Is there a secondary energy center here? It is quite annoying, since it makes it harder to locate and activate the brow center. Even when that happens, it's hard to keep my focus from slipping to the upper nose area.
This thing led me to think about how much the chakras depend on / relate to the physical body. Are all primary and secondary energy centers at a site of some physical organ? And how much can the energy center position vary between people? While continuing this train of thoughts, what happens to the energy body when, for example, a person loses his limb? And what about "ghost" pain?
