Hello.

Here's my quick story:

I haven't practiced NEW for a few months until recently. Two weeks ago, I made some simple wrapping and brushing moves on me feet, legs, hands, arms, belly and back. Next day most of muscles in my body felt a bit... burned. I went jogging and when I returned home, the slight burning feeling changed in to awful tiredness, like I was running for hours. Soon after I got fever, my temperature was above the normal level.

This condition didn't change for two days so I went to the doctor. He gave me some antybiotics and medcine for lowering temperature. He also ordered me to do blood test (morphology). After a week of treatment I didn't feel better (well, a slight sinus-pain has subsided, but that's all), I still had fever and still felt tired. Blood test showed no alarming results, everything was fine.
I went to doctor again. This time he didn't prescribe any medcine since he didn't know what was wrong with me. I have to do further examination for blood, urine and do ultrasonography.

It's nearly two weeks since I've done the NEW exercises and I'm 90% sure it's their fault. I still feel tired, feverish, I have slight pain aches (tighs, arms, elbows, back). I haven't done NEW since then, neither my condition has improved.

Has anyone else experienced similar to this? Is there a way to feel better and overcome this symptoms?
Every morning I wake up with high temperature I feel more and more drained... :(

Maybe you should try NEW again. It may help.

Since we just went through the worst flu season in history (not in severity, in number of people sick), I have to guess that you just came down with it when you started back with NEW.

I just read something that may have been the reason you got so sick after doing the N.E.W. energy exercises. This is what Robert Bruce said in the end of chapter 11 of 'Astral Dynamics: A NEW Approach to Out-of-Body Experiences' just before he guides us through the energy raising exercises.

QuoteOf these three storage centers, the most important and safest to actively fill is the sub-navel storage center. When this center is full, it overflows into the sub-heart storage center, which when full overflows into the sub-brow storage center.

Deliberately filling the two higher storage centers first is a very unwise practice that can unbalance the enrgy body and significantly lower vitality levels. This not only is developmentally counterproductive, but can also adversely affect emotional, mental, and psychic stability. Filling all the storage centers is a lifetime's work. It can take months of regular energy raising before sub-naval storage levels significantly increase, because a great deal of enerfgy is used up during early development exercises.

There are no safe shortcuts. If you long for psychic abilities, practice regular trance meditation and work daily on filling your sub-naval storage center. Make trance meditation and energy raising a part of your daily life, and your energy body will develop in a natural, balanced, and healthy way. Any dormant psychic abilities will begin to manifest when the energetic conditions that allow them are created. Forcing this process causes predictable problems.

From this I assume that you started raising your energy levels in reverse starting with the sub-brow, overflowing the energy into the sub-heart, which eventually over-flowed into the sub-naval. Rob Bruce suggested you do the opposite. I thought this passage may help you based on what you told us... maybe you should email him and ask about what to do for your situation? I hope I helped a bit... and I'm sorry if I sounded a bit 'I told you so'-ish! *Hugs*
I will be away on vacation to Italy and Sicily from June 4 to the 22nd. I will try and get on when I can, but that time will be very short, if at all. I'll reply to any and all of my threads when I get back home though. :-)
