Raising energy into the sub-navel energy storage c

The subnaval storage center is separate from the chakras. Every time you raise energy it is a good idea to store the excess in your subnaval storage center when you are done. It is not so much a problem not to do so in the beginning but once you get started it is a good way to prevent side effects such as headaches. In addition to energy you raise by working with your chakras, when you find tension in a part of your body you can move the excess energy from there to your subnaval storage center. When it gets there, it will be refined and made useful.

Now I'm confused.  I thought the storage center was a chakra...
What's the difference between the storage center and the naval chakra?

Tom

The naval chakra is a primary energy center. Like the other primary energy centers, it does several things (1) takes energy in, (2) sends energy out, (3) controls certains areas of the body, (4) is often associated with a gland such as the adrenals, (5) is involved in specific areas of our lives.

The subnaval storage center is designed as a storage tank for energy. It is involved in refining that energy. When there are unusual levels of demand on the energy system this provides it. It does not have a set of secondary energy structures which must be developed before full use can be made of it.

Hmmm.. I wonder if this could be part of my problem... [:D]

So the storage center is just below the naval and the chakra is on the naval?

Tom

The chakra, according to the way I practice, is just in front of the spine. A couple of inches below the belly button, a couple of inches in. The storage area is more of a whole circular field, the whole region. Really, though, the precise location for both is something that everyone must find on their own through practice. You can just trust that as you are working toward that you are still succeeding.

After a several months I was able to feel a specific spot where everything was going. It takes a different amount of time for everyone. If you just raise vaguely somewhere between your belly button and pubic line and inwards, you're fine. Or even your entire abodomen which is what I did for a long time. You don't have to be accurate at all and when sensations start you can focus in on them.

First, i want to appologize for asking such a triviell question...

I would like to start raising energy into my sub-navel energy storage center,
at the same time as i am stimulating secondary energy cirucuits.
Is this okay? Should i wait with raising energy, until i know i am blockage
free and have a good foundation for flowing energy through my body?

Thanks in advance!
(Thanks to Tom for answering my last triviell question!)
