I've been attempting AP for a while, and I was attempting the light method which was given by a member and i began to feel a slight 'pressure' on my forehead. was this a sign that i had maybe opened a chakra....?

That's how it feels to me when my brow chakra is active.  Just be careful to stop stimulating it if it ever feels too strong or painful.  When I first started out, I gave myself awful brow chakra headaches because I was focusing too much on the brow instead of distributing my attention to the other chakras equally.
