Physical vision becoming distorted while meditating?

While having a good meditation session and increasing my energy to great levels my vision at the time becomes very distorted.  I like to meditate in front of plants and the plants go all wavy.  And seem more alive.

Why is this?
Am I wrong to want you near?
A bit of heaven with you beside me.
I see your face in the eyes of the sky.
But you are farther than, far tonight.
