I really have no idee if this works but maybe you should try and do some running? If it doesn't help afterwards it atleast got away for it for a while.

Title: addictive cycles and alternative realities
Post by: pharmakeia on February 05, 2005, 19:44:08
Often times those aware of alternative realities seek to escape via the use of drugs and alchole. What's interesting is that although temporary relief from interdimensional awareness may occur, the condition that the mind/body relationship is left in once the binge cycle has occured, leaves the practiioner worse off then when they started.

You should research the clensing practices of various spiritual disciplines in various cultures and you'll see the importance of more natural cycles of spiritual health. There are many amplified cycles of addiction and disorder of human attributes today.

I would recommend taking 2 weeks off work, working with someone on a clensing fast... that means total clensing, taper off to at least an "eden diet", no tv, no media, no images in your face other then natural. As much time in the great outdoors as much as possible to "reconnect".

We live in a land full of lines we know not where they lead. Our path rampantly jumping to and fro in front of feet pressed to step ahead. But if it's one thing I have learned about the step... it's that you must push off from where you rest, you must relax into where you are going.

Your right i used to live in the country, never used to drink although i have always smoked and i used to spend loads of time outside and play classical music on my piano i used to love it. Then i set up a business in a shopping centre and ended up working 70 hours a week and moved into a town house ended up on the party scene drinking and taking drugs. When i can't kope with the kundalini i tend to drink thats what i did last night, theres music playing in me head there coming from the crown and throat cakras it's driving me mad i've given the business up now but i'm so stressed out because now i need to do something with all my stock???

Cultivate Peace. What do you loose yourself in? What have you loved to meditate before you moved into a busy lifestyle?

If your throat chakra won't close would you consider going to an experienced accupuncturist?

Have you tried singing with the music for a while? Or humming?

You may have to gently work through this. Reconnecting and grounding will be of benefit of course. Also deliberate training of the energy body in a completely balanced way will help. Specifically working on the chakras that are less active to balance their working. Alcohol won't help so much.

yoga stretching spreads the energy around the whole body evenly so that you do not just feel it in one chakra but everywhere thereby dissipating any pain in oneody part. For example with the splits the energy goes downward or with the headstand it goes to your head and the plough opens your stomach chakra. A balancedyoga routine gets the enrgy you have currently available distributed properly to all your chakras. I do 3 x 1 hour a week yoga on  monday, wednesday and Friday and by Monday after a long weekend I get more headaches because I have a lot of energy stored up through a couple days without yoga and it goesto my head. Ater doing yoga it is spread much better and I feel a lot more relaxed. i think this is the best way to deal with Kundalin(or whatever you want to call it). Since I have been dealing with this stuff for some years in a gradually increasing sort of way I think my advice should be useful.
