first of all
hi guys i'm new here and i got to say u have a great forum
keep up the good work!
now...i want to know some thing about levitation
i looked around the net and i seen allot of "theories" about it
some say for levitate you need to make your body very light then you can take off
other say you need to some how disable gravity around you then you can levitate
i have read some were here that you can't find the real way to do it on the net
and i have heard about some yogik power patch or some thing that gives you allot of abilities including levitation
now what i want to know is if some one here know some thing about all of this
and if some one have the technique to learn to levitate
i need all the help you can give me
hope you can give me some...
SORRY ABOUT ANY MISS TYPES ! ! ! !
levitation is telekinesis. learn that first
levitation is telekinsis???
wtf??????
you can not levitate your body with telekinesis
i need to know the how can you
It is like the connection between remote viewing and astral projection. Yes, moving objects with your mind leads to being able to lift your body. There are a lot of small steps on the way to being able to levitate and each of these small steps has benenits of its own in addition to working toward levitation. Even levitation is a means to another end. You want to levitate to accomplish something else, right? Is it possible that there are other ways to reach that purpose which are closer to being within your reach?
well...
i want just to learn about it how dose it works and everything
maybe you can lift your body up with telekinesis but i'm positive there are other ways
such as making you body lighter some how or disabling gravity around you
my main purpose is to levitate
i know it's possible
i just need you to show me the right way to reach my purpose :)
Levitation is WAY too difficult for me to consider trying for..especially as I'm a fat git. :-).
I would be amazed if anyone on the net, here or otherwise can do this. or show you a way to do it in one lifetime.
But that's just what I believe.

I know of nobody who can come close to levitating themselves. I read here once or twice about a psi wheel being levitated, but who knows if its true? Possible, yes.
If there were an easier way to levitate things than telekinesis, we'd do that instead of telekinesis, and we'd call it telekinesis. So it is telekinesis, which often does involve feeling like the target object is lighter etc.
I assume you mean to levitate your physical body or other physical things. OBE is much different.
ok...what do you say about lifting yourself up with psi/ki/chi?
pushing some energy under your feet so you can levitate
that's anther way i heard about
i would repeat the same, and add that
you can apply paranormal force to this reality, but you always pay a price in energy for breaking the normal "laws" of physics
Just about every (probable to work) weird thing there is to be tried to affect this physical reality by mental effort, I've tried it. Some days I tried random things for hours at a time. One of the weirder things I found is that often for a few minutes, it consistently works that... when I mentally push one direction on a psi wheel, it turns a different direction. Same pair every time, sometimes for days or just minutes. And usually a push direction is paired with a turn, or a turn with a push, but not the same type. It seems to imply more than 3 dimensions to move and turn in, which science confirms with certainty.
It feels like it is going too far to say that levitation can't be done in one lifetime. I just wanted to make it clear that this is not a good starting point. The best place to begin is with the basics: relax and stop thinking in words. These things by themselves take years to develop. Along the way it is good to start getting some experience working with energy and seeing auras. Trying to jump directly to levitation just invites failure, and that is the worst way to begin.
who sad i'm a beginner?
i'm practicing ki About 2 years i can see auras and energys by opening my third eye (astral saith) and i deed allot of anther things
but not so long ago i started interesting in levitation and now i want to know about it and maybe even try to levitate
2 yrs is still a beginner in many traditions and practices. In theory I have 17 years of practice in moving energy etc-and yes it's a solid distinctive sensation-not imagined waftiness. Heat/tingles/pressure and some sensations that are hard to verbalise-almost muscular to a degree.
Despite that, I know that I'm not much further on than a practice novice. This was brought home to me when I worked along side an italian tai chi instructor called Salvatore who was on our course last December. He was so much stronger in moving chi it was shocking almost :-).
You are lucky you had latent psychic talent that could be opened up. My youngest brother also has that and it opened up within 2 yrs or so for him. Mine, is nonexistent.
there is't such thing nonexistent...
and about levitation
can some one tell me how do i make my body lighter?
i heard you need to increase air element and decrease earth element in your body but how do i do that?
and what about that yogic thing that give you allot of abilities including levitation?
While I don't know about working with elements, that yogic thing is called pranayama and it requires a solid foundation in doing the postures (asanas). If you want to move to the pranayama including the locks called bandhas from the beginning, you should try Ashtanga Yoga (Power Yoga is the better known name for it).
Power Yoga is a form of yoga that focused on rapid changing of poses for a cardio and strength workout which some men are beginning to utilize. It does away with most of the reflection and breathing. I don't think the kind you're talking about is this...
Yes, it is. I'm doing this particular form of it. Ashtanga Yoga really does use pranayama and the bandhas from day one of practice.
Tom, you are working with elements. The aim of pranayama exercizes is to control inhalation of solar prana which the air has absorbed. What is your ultimate goal in this discipline, and how has your attainment of third eye vision benifited your life so far?
What methods would Ashtanga employ toward telekinesis?
I'm guessing they would provide energy to do it with. The actual physical strength doesn't really transfer to mental strength, but if you believe in a bioenergetic energy transfer connection then it would be as beneficial as any other good health exercise, especially with all that prana flow stuff.
Some people I have spoken with talk about balancing their earth, water, fire, and air elements in their body. I don't have any way of knowing what my proper mix is or how close to it I am or how my earth feels different than my water or air. Maybe some day this will change.
Ashtanga Yoga starts by teaching a very basic pranayama technique and adds the lower two locks. The movements are matched with the breathing. This is different than most systems, which consider pranayama and bandhas to be too advanced for beginners. They are the fastest way to build up energy in the hatha yoga systems. As for why I mentioned pranayama at all, it was in direct response to a question. Patanjali specifically said that pranayama leads to siddhis such as levitation.
Do I understand properly that you will eventually eliminate locks from the bottom up in hopes of attaining siddhi-ism?
The locks are tools to keep the energy raised in pranayama from dissipating as fast as it is raised. The things which need to be broken from the bottom of the chakra system going up are the knots between the chakras. I think there are 3 or 4 of them. This comes about from the bandhas and pranayama naturally as enough energy is raised. Unfortunately the psychic powers (siddhis) require all of the knots to be broken as a prerequisite, so it makes sense to start early and practice often. The interesting thing is that the lockas (bandhas) and pranayama are traditionally used to raise the kundalini, particularly the first bandha, mulabandha, which energizes the first two chakras.
It sounds like, rather than locks, these are upward pumps of kundaletic force?
Kundalini stays dormant until activated, but she radiates prana to keep the body alive while she is dormant. When she is activated she spreads out her influence, burning through obstacles, as she moves under her own power. The bandhas (locks) keep the energy raised from doing pranayama from immediately draining out of the chakras. When there is enough power in all of the chakras it is possible to wake up the dormant kundalini. The bandhas are not pumps to pull up the kundalini energy while she is still dormant, and after she wakes up she does not need the help.

If that first little part must take years, then levitation takes centuries. One must be wrong.
Or you simply assume that because one part may take years, the other takes centuries.
I know the relative sizes of the sequence of skills, at least to my level of skill, where I can sometimes roll cans an inch.
If nobody has mastered levitation then an educated guess means nothing, really. I could state possiblities until I was blue in the face, and there would be no way of proving them anyways.
The world's population and technology are good models to look at. They develop at a crawl for a long time and then things start to get interesting. I think there are a few people here who are entering the stage where things are starting to get interesting. Maybe they will be levitating this lifetime. They might even be doing things that are much more interesting. Things like levitation are only improbable without the work leading up to them.
Yes, that's what I was trying to get at. There's no way of knowing how the learning curve progresses until it is accomplished. It could be that it speeds up greatly after a certain point is reached, but there is no point in guessing simply because they are guesses.
Terms, such as years and centuries, are figurative. One circulation of kundalini can be called a life time, and indeed, several circulations cause lifetimes' worth of developement.
Years and centuries are not figurative, which means not literal. Explain what you mean by saying they are figurative please.
Something which is figurative is a metaphor. To say that someone is a stick in the mud is figurative in as much as they are not really a stick in mud. To call someone a piece of excrement is figurative as this could not actually be true. The saying is called a figure of speech; it is figurative. This might get difficult for non-English speakers who are reading an automatically translated page.
Similarly, many metaphysical terms have double meanings. These are meant to be felt out. The meaning is imaginary rather than taken literally.
Some schools of kundalini call each circulation of the energy one lifetime. It does not take an entire human life for the energy to make one circulation. However, the thought used to force each circulation can be said to cause as much spiritual developement as having lived one lifetime would. Therefore, each circulation is called one lifetime. It's just symbolism.
