questions on auras

Hey everyone.  I have a few questions on auras and I was hoping some of you with knowledge on the subject could help me.  I would like to know how a persons aura interacts with the auras of other people when in social settings or when walking in a public place (like a mall or grocery store) and not directly interacting with people.

In social settings, how does the mood of the interaction effect the auras of the people involved?  Like what if two people are arguing/fighting and creating extremely negative vibes directed toward eachother?  Or what if the people talking to eachother aren't really 'connecting' and the interaction is awkward and uncomfortable?

In public settings, auras are still interacting with eachother even though there is no communication going on between the people, right?  When I walk through a mall or some other place with alot of people, I can feel the energies (auras?) of the people around me and it can be really overwhelming and uncomfortable for me.  What's going on here?

I'm asking these questions because I'm wondering if there's a connection to my social anxiety problems and the way my aura interacts with other people.  Am I on the right track here? I don't really know much about auras and energies and all that stuff, but I'm hoping to learn, and use this kind of knowledge to overcome my anxieties and fears.  If anyone here can help me, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Stookie

I've not had much experience with auras and don't know how to reply in relation to them, but I do relate to how you can "feel" the people's energies around you. It can be a gift as to how you choose friends, or a hindrence when you're around people you don't vibe with.

I understand your situation - been there. For myself, I see now that I was always trying to mentally absorb my surroundings (unintentionally). When I focused outwards like that, I became very self-conscious of all these other "energies" around me, making me very uncomfortable. This changed after starting daily meditation practice. I began to feel like I could choose what to absorb in my surroundings and still stay centered within myself. Self-consciousness was replaced with self-confidence.

I understand that everyone is different, but that's what worked for me. Anxiety sucks.

I think I will try some meditation.  Did you use any particular method? Or just focusing on and counting the breath?

Thanks for the reply.

Mostly just quieting the mind, learning to keep it still and focused. Focusing on breathing works well for some also. I try to keep it simple. Use a method that you feel most comfortable with.

I think an important thing is doing it everyday, slowly conditioning the mind & improving concentration over time.

Good luck :)

meditation done contructively has a postive impact on all areas of my life, eg i have been meditating  for the last couple of months (counting the breath and mantas), i dream better and can remember most of what happens and the last couple of days, since i borrowed a complete book on meditation, have seen huge differences in my behavior (mum thinks im stoned), i smile and say gday to people, damn i even got a smile of a good looking lady

Hi thecurerules.

I don't think your aura cares one way or another. Auras don't "sense" people, you do. If you want to work on social and communication issues, I think you need to work on this level. As you've said, you smiled and were open with people and they responded with the same energy you gave them.

Our energy bodies do influence the way we feel and react to things, and working on your aura through the various techniques available will centre, shield, cleanse and empower you.

Working on your aura will not fix you totally. But it will help you along the way.
