Massive energy flow in brow and crown

For the past three days, I've had massive, spontaneous energy movement in my brow and crown chakras.  This was NOT like having an uncomfortably over-stimulated chakra.  This almost incapacitated me and made it difficult to function!

The first day I got very intense and sudden sensations in my brow chakra that lasted for about 15 hours.  The next day, all was calm, except that I kept seeing things from the corner of my eye.  This happens to me a lot and normally I don't pay attention, but this was very clear and not like shadows at all.

Then last night I got sudden, intense crown chakra sensations that felt like someone was lifting my head.  This also lasted a long time.  The weirdest thing is that I was just looking at wedding reception sites online.  I wasn't thinking about anything remotely metaphysical.

It was like someone was saying, "HI THERE!  PAY ATTENTION TO THESE CHAKRAS RIGHT NOW!"

I'm choosing to view this as an opportunity rather than an affliction - but I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing :/  I tried running energy through, but it didn't seem to be accomplishing anything.

Things are still happening.  I would *really* appreciate any thoughts.

Hi , the only thing i can recommend is lots of physical activity if it starts to bother you too much and want it to stop. If you cant manage that, stamping your feet and clapping your hands can slow things down too along with cold showers. Wish i could offer more advice. I hope that helps.

There are plenty of people who'd trade places with you. If these things run their course, you will find your efforts to work with energy resulting more smoothly in positive results. If you are like me, you'll even look back on these things and wonder how to make it come back. Don't resist anything that happens to you and enjoy these major displays while you have them.

I'm with Tom on this one. If I felt anything in any of my chakras, I think I'd s**t a brick. Don't be complaining now.

Obviously I need to rephrase!  I'm not complaining--, I'm just wondering if there's something I need to be doing to take advantage of the sensations.  I end up just sitting there and thinking, "Well, ok, so this is weird ..." until it goes away.

Well, like I say, anything that happens out of the ordinary on this plane, mundane, limited planet is good. I'd say flow with it man and ride it as long as you can.

First I want to ask something. Was all this preceded by a short spasm  that could be compared with an eye that opened its lid in the middle of your head?

About the flashes. Can't tell what they are. But maybe if you focus on them, they will appear as clouds?

For personal experimentation, get a grape or something and start squeezing in it with the top of your fingers while at the same time focussing at the middle of your forehead. I read that especially in the thumbs therer lie pressure points of the eye/crown. Don't know if it's true though. By doing so, maybe you will find between all the pressure, a smaller more subtle 'center'?
Has the pressure also expanded to the nose?

I don't recall, sorry.  Usually it's very sudden, kind of tickling and pressure-like.

I'll try if I'm able to, but usually they are so quick that I can't see them closely.

Thanks!  I'll try this technique and see what happens.

YES.  It comes and goes (not here at the moment), but it has dropped down to my nose and cheeks, and other times extended up over my forehead and occasionally seems to merge with my crown.

Neat, that sounds similar to what I used to get, but mine only lasted a few moments (probably close to 10 or 20). Felt like pressure/tingling, through the bridge of the nose, parts of the cheeks, and my forehead. I managed to figure out why it was happening though. It's bound to be different reason than you, though.

Probably!  But what was your reason, if you don't mind me asking?

Here is the thread where I posted it in. I hadn't thought to post what the sensations were though.

Thanks for sharing :)

Now that I think about it, a less intense version of this feeling (brow specifically) often indicates that I should stop and go to whichever place I see that intensifies the feeling.  Usually when I go there, I'll see or encounter something that has personal spiritual meaning for me.

I'm not sure about the really huge, incapacitating brow and crown sensations, though.

For me the feeling either got stronger than normal or changed to include the bridge of my nose and cheeks (when it had mainly been contained higher) when a specific person was near (as in the different one only happened with that specific person). This was over a year ago either of them last happened (as I said, I've moved and have not know these people for nearly as long or as well), but I can get the same feelings going right now, on purpose, so I think that they're correct about what I remember about how it felt before.

Well, it's moving onto to my temples, my sub-navel center, my solar plexus, etc.  I could hardly sleep last night.  Wheeeee!

knucklebrain1970

It's your kundalini man, be careful with that sheit

Since I don't know exactly what I should do, it's hard to know if I'm being careful or not :/

I'm just bustin you man. Remember life is supposed to be intrinsically good. I really believe that. If the energy is too much for you to handle, stop for a week or so. I would exchange places with you in a heartbeat. I have a hard time feeling energy. However I am not you, and I don't know what your feeling so perhaps it's a hinderance. If so, I'd say stop what your doing. But relax, there is nothing to fear. It's just energy, and if you will it to subside it will. You control your body, remember that. You don't want this? Then will it to go away. You are not your body. Your body is the sum of the parts that make it up. None of it is really "YOU" but you are the commander of this ship. Remember that. The mind is what controls the body and the mind is more powerful. So meditate and relax and will this to subside with your intent and it will.

Peace,

Kevin, you're totally right.  I guess I should state more clearly that I'm not scared or overwhelmed (except for a few times at first), I'm just hoping like hell that I'm doing the right thing for this!  ;)

knucklebrain1970

Do what you feel is right. You know best. Quiet your mind the best you can. Sit in silence, close your eyes and assess what your feeling. Tell yourself there is nothing to fear. If you feel still a bit weary, lay off what it is your doing for a while. If you are comfortable with it, control it. It's just energy, and it's you. You control you, but not when your freaking out, because you lose focus, and the fear sets in and runs the ship. Take control of yourself man. Be adamant with yourself. This is a mind game. This is energy. However, your organic brain is questioning it. What's the worst that's going to happen? Nothing. Are you going to go nuts and wind up in a nut house? No. So all else is trivial right? Do what I said. Calm yourself the best you can and assess the situation. Quiet the mind and feel what your really feeling. When you are calm enough, either control it however you deem fit, or will it away and start again in a week or so. Nobody here has the answers, just opinions and advice. That's all. You, and  you only have the answers. No go do what I said and report back tomorrow. Remember, everything is ok. Were here for you my brother. Seriously, do what I said. Also, drink plenty of water and try to get some rest. When your sleep deprived, a whacked out portion of your brain takes control and tells you lies. Do what I said, calm yourself and get some rest.

Peace be with you.

It sounds to me like something is opening up.  I wouldn't be scared, but if your intuition warns you it's something bad, listen.  Otherwise, if it's weird and not really bad, let it run it's course, it sounds like new energy pathways being created.  Cool.
