Has anyone here watched the Tensegrity videos and doing those exercises presented there? Anyone ever heard about it before?
"What are you doing here, Nasrudin? his neighbor asks. "I'm looking for a key which I lost
in the wood?" Nasrudin replies. "Why don't you look for it in the wood?" says the neighbor,
wondering at Nasrudin's folly. "Because there is much more light here"

Yes, & all those types of exercises work if you work at them diligently.

They're really fun and enjoyable to practice. It takes time to memorize the movements, but once that's done its practice is smooth.

With some of them you'll sweat quite a lot  :-)

I practiced them time ago... Maybe I should dust my books to start off again

I have borrowed magical passes but i found them to complicated to learn except those at the start. There are not enough pictures for me to learn complicated moves as i dont know what to do between the pictures. I have some videos and i wil rather learn from there as it is easier and you dont worry "have i did it correctly?". I have learned the 12 basic passes.

I agree. The first ones are more easier. A video should be watched in order to have a clearer image of how to practice the more advanced ones.

hey this interests me,
could you elaborate? are they like yoga/chi kung?

do they actually work??

thanks,
if god dies, were all f*cked.

Sorry, I didn't see your message.

It's a very hard physical workout in my opinion. You end up quite tired, but you feel good also.

The only payback is that you have to memorize all the movements. Sometimes it's a bit tricky to remember so many postures and movements, but I read somewhere that that's one of the goals of the exercise: to have you very concentrated in the movement that you forget about anything else.

I also read that it has a lot to do with tai chi and chi kung; that Castaneda took that knowledge to "improve" or "complete" what he learnt.

Anyway, for me, the best physical workout I've ever practiced is yoga. Combining the appropriate streching and force postures you end up so refreshed and with a so clear mind...! Not to speak about its breathing techniques. Pranayama, well practiced, awakens a lot of psychic abilities.
