aside from the energy body part of this- how did the rest of you perceive the event?
as below, so above

Sounds like a possibly dangerous technique to me.  There are also several stages of conscoiusness.  What one did you achieve.

Sleep
Dreaming
Waking
Transcendental

I don't know those terms, I don't know eastern terms, occult terms or other
western terms- not do due lack of research but because this topic has not been
reasonably researched much and therefor there's no names to call these states of
consciousness. The best I can do is say my crown chakra opened and stayed
open for at least a full month due to my bringing my consciousness into delta
and holding it there. You might wonder "How did he know it was Delta without
and EGG to measure brain waves". I know it was because it's a very slowest
level of sleep and I could feel it. Just like someone could tell the difference
between alpha and theta ( someone who has even a little experience with the
trance state ). I kept consciousness throughout my entire sleep cycle.
The best advice I could give to prepare for opening the crown chakra is to make
the brow and or third eye chakra to strobe. Then adopt the Lotus position.
What I believe is needed is the inner ear to feel the head more vertical than
horizontal. So you can even get away with cocking your head up on a pillow
so it rests more vertical than horizontal. One thing I know for sure is the
third eye chakra loads the crown for enlightenment.

so, you say you need to keep all the subtle bodies still to achieve this deep meditation? is meditation in the astral inferior to meditation in the body? why is this?

Matthew Kingsley

I think your wondering where your consciousness is situated while meditating
into delta. I believe it's situated in the etheric body most of the time.
While the trance state deepens I believe consciousness flicks into subtle
body awareness momentarily but is brought back to the etheric body to
deepen trance. If one of the subtle bodies is used  for to long a time to
perceive and travel the trance state is frozen and deepening it is impossible.
I believe the major chakra sites have a subtle body connected to it, so with
that in mind going through the process of flicking back and forth from
subtle body to etheric body is a normal way of deepening the trance state.
Perception in delta and the opening of the crown chakra may be related to
a high end subtle body if I'm correct. And perceiving with that subtle body
is something that has to be experienced if your serious about meditation.

no, what i was really wondering was this:

i've heard that when you astral travel you can meditate on the astral plane. for example, robert bruce mentions that he goes sometimes into deep space to meditate. so, i was wondering what the difference is in doing this and meditating normally in the body. i posted a topic about this somewhere else but didn't get that many replies. apparently it is easier to meditate in the astral plane; but then what would be the point in ever meditating in the body?
any thoughts?

Matthew Kingsley

Your talking about meditating in the body without the trance state. That
would be beta wave meditation. The difference between meditating in the
astral dimension and  meditating in the body is brain waves and the presence
or absence of the trance state. Beta brain wave state is normal waking
consciousness and that would be meditating in the body- as you put it.
Astral meditating needs a level of trance state either alpha or theta wave
state. As soon as you hit trance state your consciousness bounces into the
etheric body and from there is split into the astral or other dimension.

Meditation and Enlightenment

Everyone wants to know what Enlightenment is. I know what it is because I've had my crown chakra open and
felt the thousand petal lotus flower open and massage my skull and top of my head- up and down. I know how I did it
and I want to share it with you. First I'd like to begin by describing what enlightenment is. It's when all major chakra
sites are open and generating energy to such a degree that is causes a natural outward flow while wide awake .
Seen from the real time zone someone who is enlighted looks like a glowing yellow mass so bright it's hard to look directly at
the individual. It's
like looking into the sun or looking right into a 150 watt light bulb. This yellow light radiates outward from the enlightened
individual lighting up the immediate space within the real time zone. When looked directly at, waves of yellow light tends to
roll out like waves of water and reaches a point where it rolls inward a few inches away from the circumference of the body.
An enlightened spirit will light up a room in the real time zone like a yellow light bulb spreading yellow light every where.
Now lets get to how it's achieved. The trance state has to be achieved firstly. It has to be made to deepen. Forget about
triggering the projection mechanism- you need to keep all subtle bodies stationary and stop yourself from using them for travel
or perception. That means you need
the mental control not to fall into a dream state as well. Keep your mind as clear as possible and use no subtle body
to travel. If you find yourself using one of your subtle bodies to travel you still need time to work through personal conflict
before full enlightenment is achieved. And finally you need to bring your consciousness into DELTA. All the time while keeping
all subtle bodies inactive. By the time you get into delta brain waves consciously you will have worked out every bit of
conflict hidden or otherwise. Something wonderful happens when your in delta consciously, your visual perception which was
once black and formless ( from mental control ) takes on a sort of multi coloured outline over moving images which are
in fact pure insight and understanding of the whole of what you are. It's where consciousness meets divinity. You need to keep
this state as long as possible but really 10 seconds is all you need, then awaken to find your crown chakra open and active.
Maintaining this open and active condition is another thing entirely.
