UNIVERSAL ENERGY courses - dangerous??

hello everyone,
I have a few good friends who are into Universal Energy (some of them have completed the 13++ level - highest)..because I keep on bothering them about giving me new ideas for my development, they try talking me into doing the UE courses.
I've read all about it and probably will go for it, but I'm curious what is your opinion on the chakra opening issue. During the 1st stage course (3 days) they open your chakras first to 30% then to 60% and finally to 100% by Master Dang himself. I keep on thinking....isn't this a bit too fast?? What if I'm not "cleaned up" enough? Isn't this a bit dangerous?

Oka so.... I can't read this language, I don't know where to start but, are you saying there is a guy opening your chakras for you?

I think that it is not as good as they tell it is. If they claim that they will open all your chakras in 3 days, it has to be scam. They'll just stimulate your chakras to feel some energetic sensations, but not much more.

Hmmm... I've always thought that chakras are energetic in nature...

star: most of this is in english...so...hmm.. well yes, they open them so I can have an open channel for the Universal Energy.

As for opening them in percentages it means that they don't do it all at once, but in 3 steps.

Well, first of all..what I've been told is that during the openings the masters "take over' your energetic load (ciezar energetyczny in Polish:))..so that if you are not ready they can balance out all the distortions..
second of all the method is very "scientific" and the seminars are full of business men, scientists and doctors..can so many "grounded" people (przyziemnych??) be so easily fooled???

At that price it sounds a lot like a scam to me  

I've heard about the opening of chakras - basically it's like 1 person sends a lot of energy into someone else, thereby making the energy flow easier and better. The person I read about who did this also did it in several steps, but with a pause for several months inbetween to get used to the feeling and changes that would come with it.

You can spend your money better elsewhere imo - you don't really need any help to do that, you can do it by yourself by training. In my opinion that's what you should do - taking this shortcut makes you skip a big part of the learning process, and if people don't learn how to do it themselves then we will all be unable to carry the "gift" on if nobody certified to open other peoples chakras 100% is still alive.

That is the biggest BS Scam I've ever heard.  You don't need anyone to open your chakras for you.  And doing it that fast is very unhealthy.  Slow, Gradual Developement is what you want.

Why would you pay anyone for something absolutely free.

Buy Astral Dynamics by Robert Bruce, or read his NEW techniques for free online.  That is all you need for a very long time.

Seems like your friends would have been the first people you asked.  What did they have to say about it?

Personally, after reading over the website/faqs, it doesn't look like anything I would have any desire to do free or otherwise, but it is interesting nonetheless.  Keep us updated on your experiences with it if you decide to go to a seminar.

If you are worried about the danger of it just be sure to read over well any liability forms you may have to sign.

I do not believe anyone human can open  our chakras for us .
I agree with Runola that Reiki is opening to the Universal Energy also .

A teacher  could teach us how to meditate and how to heal as in (Reiki)
and how to project . These simple basics then transform the body over time naturally . We can learn these basics for free.

But the most important element of opening chakras is the removing of blockages of fear and filling ourelves with love and light . To fill ourselves with love and light we need to integrate the lessons of love into our life and to remove negativity and ego . That cannot be done for another . But
all of this can be done for free by the student themselves .

I read that part of the instruction is about losing fear and removing blockages but the student still has to do it themselves . And all of those steps are within the seeker' own heart and available in spiritual realms thru the instruction of masters also .

I feel  one year of meditation and reiki instruction would open the chakral column . But there is so much more beyond that .

There are the nesting of the various subtle energy bodies and the sequential igniting of the kundalini flames to complete a circuit . I feel that a seeker sitting three times a week with a good teacher would open to the levels described thusfar . But the description is not complete . So I remain curious like the others on this thread .Would you please write the levels and what occurs in the energy body and what abilities the student has at the conclusion of each level ?

Such people can be fooled most easily. They don't know what power lies in chakras, so they won't argue with people considered masters. They think that if they will feel more healthy, positive and balanced, it's 100% of their chakras power. It's not true. After a first rune meditation(about 20min.) astral RTZ can be seen even when only slightly relaxed. After 5 second channeling of sexual energies to choosen chakra(as described by Sebastian Heller in his book "Advanced Sexual Practices") unbelievable emotional high can occur. And I guess that it's not 100% of possibilities. In these courses they say, that they will open your chakras to 100% level, so it's suspicious.

Thank you all for the wise replies...especially those about me not being able to "carry" the gift if I'm not ready.

There were some questions, so I'll try answering them...

the price: of course I don't have to take the course and pay the money, my UE friends can do all the work for me for free..I just don't want to "burn the bridges" with the workshop organizers in case I will want to join the workshops on some higher level. If my friends teach me, I won't have any diploma's or anything to show, so I'll have to start the course from the beginning.

Redcatherine and Runlola:..I agree with everything you say..The only thing I dislike about Reiki is the symbol work....hmm..I guess I just like simpler things.

My instinct on this is to throw it out with any other new age junk that insists on gradually boiling the would be practitioners in a financial sense.  Increasing the price as you go "higher" up the courses feels and smells like a rotten scam to me.

As for safety, I personally believe the safest way is through methodical consistent self training. I've used chi kung, and N.E.W in a deliberate and methodical manner for a while now (18 months for NEW, and I can't remember how many years for chi kung). Consistently very strong stable flows of heat/tingly/other sensations mixed energy happens at will with little problem.  Chakra work is really down to some common sense sensitivity and self patience. Obviously reading around the subject from different traditions will give one a sense of the details needed. You don't need some high priced nonsense. If there's a lengthy and therefore pricey path involved then it's nearly always likely to be next to worthless.  Until I meet someone from such a "discipline" who actually can demonstrate stronger and better control than what I already do for myself, my mind is unlikely to be changed by the various rationalisations that such organisations put out.  For me the only proof is experience of one kind or another.  

Also I get a strong smell of pseudo-science on their site. "God-particle". I'd treat that with suspicion .

It wouldn't be difficult if you have a natural ability to influence other peoples energy fields to set up an apparently quite "real" and solid "discipline" to sell to folks. I could do it tomorrow, so could any of us on this site who know exactly what moving energy feels like and can demonstrate to others.  Tickling your chakras is childs play to anyone who's spent a few months solidly working on theirs-as long as they can feel what they are doing.

Get big pinches of salt for you'll need them where ever you see graduated and price increased disciplines.

Never, ever rely on anyone to "open" your chakras. At best you'll be tickled and fooled into believing something happened. At worst if they have genuine ability you could be drained or otherwise unbalanced, made to feel euphoric even-therefore completely vulnerable to believing anything told to you after that point.  Case in point, when I learnt to pull energy into the heart centre and pump it out for healing purposes, I cried with tears of joy, even though I was only concentrating on moving energy. I've had it happen a number of times and learnt to control it and make the sensation stronger. It gave me quite an ego trip. However thankfully I didn't get attached to a belief system that explained it. But I could have done, if someone else had caused me to perform the same actions in the context of a procedure or ceremony linked to a belief, I'd have been converted. The sensation was that powerful. Just thought I'd mention this in case you found you also had been "given" quite powerful and involving chakra sensations by anyone from this organisation.

I can assure you that rune based resonance meditations are 100% safe, and don't require much work. There's an advantage that you decide by yourself how fast it will be done, and who can know better? The sexual energy channeling CAN be dangerous, because if a person has huge amount of negative sexual energy, he/she can experience nasty problems, like chakra blockages, etc. otherwise it's fun.
