Hi all! I hope everyone's having a wonderful summer insofar.

I read somewhere on these forums that energy manipulation is all about the application of one's emotions. But how does one deduce what emotion should be used to accomplish a specific goal? For example, if I want to heal a huge bruise on my left shoulder, what emotion should I be generating? Or if I want the strength to pick up more dumbell weight than my average, would I want anger, courage, happiness, or something else?

You want the emotion that you would experience when the goal is realized. For healing you would feel something like relief or elation or well-being, etc.

However, physical strength is a whole different story. You can imagine/feel yourself as strong, and then physically work towards that over time. Or.... you could be like the mother that lifts a car off her child and become strong instantly because you HAVE to be. It's probably a huge strain on your muscles though.
