HUNA anyone?

Although I know nothing about HUNA, I am always happy to learn new ways of working with energy for healing. Can it be taught in a forum like this or through e-mail, or only in person?

HRI (Huna Research inc.) sells a study at home HUNA course for $65. I don't care for that one (speaking from experience here) because HRI takes the writings of Max Freedom Long as canon.

Max was a tireless researcher, and he spent the last 50 years of his life trying to peice it together. but he allowed his "christian" upbringing to influence his perceptions of HUNA.

Serge Kahili King has an organization aloha international. that teaches HUNA. I have not taken this course; but I do know the new age material added to Mr. King's books.

I took the HRI HUNA course, and have read every HUNA related book; I could lay my hands on. Right now; my favorite HUNA book is "Fundamentals Of Hawaiian Mysticiam" by Charlotte Berney. Ms. Berney has been practising HUNA for 20 years, and she often speaks at HUNA conventions. Dr. E. Otha Wingo (the president of HRI) wrote the foreword of the book and gives it high praise, and I do too!

I would suggest that you pick up that book and study. It really works better to study on your own so you can progress atr your own pace.

There is one HUNA commandment "Harm nothing with hatred".

I recommend the Berney book because it takes quite a while to get the three selves (Unihipili (low or basic self), Uhane (middle self), and the Aumakua (high self) working together in harmony. The book also does an adequate job of describing the three voltages of mana (hawaiian term for ULE) mana, mana mana, and mana loa, and succintly spells out how to create a successful prayer action.

The Berney book is weak on one area (clearing the unihipili (low or basic self) of complexes and fixations. Study the book; then E-Mail me and I will help you with clearing the complexes and fixations.

I'm reading Sergi King's book, Instant Healing, right now. It's very interesting, there's all sorts of psychological treatments in there for physical ailments. The book kind of puts me to sleep though, mainly because I'll do some visualization, such as imagining a magic spell helping with my allergies, and then I'll float off into Benworld for a while. Good book though.  Ben

I don't care for SKK.

I read "Mastering The Hidden Self" early, and thought it was great.

I read his earlier book "Kahuna Healing", and was completely turned off.

1. He spins a yarn like something out of Indiana Jones. (Telling of his fathers trip to Egypt).

2. He tells of a super secret organization that controls the world.

3. He tells of an experience with Jesus Christ.

Basicly; If SKK were to tell my it were raining; I would want the water to be tested for chlorine and fluoride.

Sorry to be blunt; but sometimes I as as subtle as a brick.

Wow, I will not read those other books then, in this he doesn't talk of any of those things, luckily. He just covers a nice broad range of different healing techniques. I like it, so I guess I'd like the better authors even more, I'll be sure to get that Charlotte Berney book.  Ben
