Energy vs Allergy

Im guessing it's obvious that energy and allergies are connected.  However, my question is if these allergies are perhaps blockages? Or in more general terms, can you work energy to reverse allergic effects?  Anyone have any success?

It's obvious? Hmm... my doctor told me it was genetic or something... though that wouldn't explain how my cat allergy went away and my dust and pollen ones are virtually nonexistant... maybe it's the green tea.

I was once allergic to cats as well--to an extreme at least.  Now they don't bother me unless that scratch me on the skin when biting while playing.  So from this it seems allergies are malleable.

I'd really like to know the answer to this, too.  Having allergies sucks and makes it hard to do energy work sometimes because concentrating on my breathing is more difficult.

I've tried focusing energy in the nasal passages in hopes that it would break apart any blockages, but no luck yet.  Feels kinda funny, though.

Alergies are bio-reactions caused by a "too clean" environment.  I'm not convinced that energy work cures it.  It may make it more tolerable, but I doubt it completely gets rid of it.  It is genetic as some of you have pointed out.  Look at your mom, dad, etc.. they likely have a history of alergies.  In very "dirty" countries where things are not as clean as the more civilized countries, the alergy rate is unbelieveably low.  It's all about your immune system.
