There is a practice from taoist yoga called "the six healing sounds". It is designed to balance the energy in the body and it allows the organs to cool off to the extent that they are overheated. It was not easy to have faith in the practice until I gave it a fair chance and was able to fix some damage with it.

I recently started doing energy work, but I'm worried because I've read at some places that taking too much chi will overheat the organs and speed their degeneration. I have been lately feeling a burning sensation in my stomach which makes me wonder if I'm overstimulating my subnavel centre. Is there some way to balance energy levels in the body to avoid these dangers?
