Energy Block?

It comes and goes in cycles. The energy will be great at times and at other times you will just have to work on something else. When you say that you have been unable to do anything with ki at all, are you saying that your entire body has become insensitive to energy equally and that there is nowhere like a finger or toe which continues to respond? If so, meditations such as concentrating on your breath could help. Deepening your relaxation or trance state would be convenient. When your ki work starts to function correctly, you can go back to it. Then again, if you want to just push your way through it with chi kung enercises even when you do not feel anything from it, you can trust that it is working.

Hi,
Yes, Tom is right.

If you want to still train but not with Ki, try training your mind. I did this for 2 hours non stop the other day without noticing. When someone tried to hit me with a snowball (There was lots of snow in UK), I turned around, caught it and crushed it with one hand. It was a pretty small and compact one campared to the others that were being thrown.
To train your mind, go into a meditative state and imagine that you are fighting somebody as equal in Ki training as you are. You could be in a tournoment or just a field. Imagine yourself doing flips and firing Ki attacks ect. Try to be realistic though, or else it wont do anything for you.

After about 10 hours of this (you can spread the hours out), you will feel more alert for people around you. You will sense the slightest movement.

I have done this for about 8 hours altogether and at the moment, I can sense everything around me, all the time. This is a good thing because you know when a teacher is going to catch you daydreaming [|)].

Cya,

So i have to imagine doing flips and ki attacks while keeping it realistic.  Hmmmmmm

Heh, so anyway, try to imagine it as a Martial Arts Tourney?  and when do you recommend doing this?

try absorbing energy squeek. it might be that your training is releasing your energy too quickly for you to regain effectively. or try as tom says and meditate. there may be something that is preventing you from feeling your energy, and meditating helps intensify your sensitivity to energy.

the imagination fighting you can do when you have free time to do it, squeek.

as for doing the ki attacks and flips and stuff, well, try to keep it more real to what YOU can do physically (as in, don't imagine yourself flying 50ft above your opponent and launching a huge ki ball that disintigrates him and everything with a square mile of him[:P]). try to make it seem in your mind as though YOU really were fighting someone who was just as strong as you. or even stronger. this is great mental training. especially when you keep a small connection to your body so that your body twitches somewhat each time you do something in your imagination. this will keep your body's reactions in synch with your mind's reactions.

For the past week or two I have been completely unable to do much of anything using KI.  I was just wondering if anybody else has either had this problem or if you could help me in any way.
