Nice touch of sarcasm at the end. My personal experience with energy in all of its forms, not just ki, is that; It really IS more empowering to both physically exersice, and maintain a healthy strong body, as well as it is to train your energy, into developing, strengthening and refineing it.

If a person goes to the gym and works out, or just works out, or takes martial arts, or whatever it is that works on the body... it doesnt mean that the person has a more developed energy signal, so to say... Nor does haveing a strong energy level, mean that a person is automatically a canidate for the 'Muscles-R-Us' club. But if a person works on BOTH aspects of thier lives, in moderation [ or excess ], that seems to trigger some sort of heightened effectiveness in both areas of noteing.

But to those who develope themselves in one OR the other, I've also noticed that with introduction and progressive growth in the other subject in thought, aswell as the original training, growth in both areas tend to progress faster aswell.

[need-less to say, Not much can be positively gained, if a neg or some other influence is hampering or negateing any growth in the first place. BUT if both aspects of a persons life, physically/spiritually, aswell as mental health, are worked on, in a positive manner, almost Any negative influence on a person can be worn away at, and gotten rid of, after a long enough period of time; thus letting all of the training to take more effect for the better]
If someone has the knowledge, and wants to do something, how far do you think they can go, if they lack the experience, and are unable to sustain the amount of effort needed to succeed?  ~ Self 2/25/2003

Tarconiss is right.  Maintaining "The Triangle of Being" is very important in progressing rapidly and healthily.

Yep, both Mind and Body are interrelated. Body is nothing without a mind and mind is nothing without a body. Therefore a balance between both has to be kept for perfect harmony and gain in power.

Anyone here that is interested in ki work, do you do regular physical exercise as well? Do you do martial arts, or balance your mind's training with your body's? It's be interesting to see the results, aside from the kung fu masters who can do hyper mega jing blast X!'s. They're way out of my league [:(]
