Maybe our creator is a sinister supernatural entity that has set up sites like Astral Pulse in order to help us develop our energy. Maybe this sinister supernatural entity feeds on that energy for its survival, and is just waiting to snatch our energy in one quick gulp upon our death.

Well Mirador, if this is true then everyone was doomed from the beginning.  Existance is meaningless except to become an entree for a useless entity.  I however do not think so pessimistically.  This life does mean something.  The afterlife means something, as well.  If this sinister entity were the case then why just spread the message to thousands of people why not millions or billions of people through a more efficient medium other than the internet?

There have been similar topics before. If you check in the Philosophy forum you'll find a thread titled 'Impossibilities' or something similar. Also, in General Metaphysics, there is a topic titled something like 'This reality IS a dream' which contains information that relates to your topic. I've put my views in both of those topics, but i'll do it again for this one, very briefly.
Basically i believe anything is possible. The only things standing in people's way is either fear or belief.
I believe that the things these 'DBZers' talk about are indeed possible. I'm not saying any of them can do it (i'm not saying they can't either), all i'm saying is it's possible.

The reason i practice energy developement is purely for spiritual developement. I do it to aid in things like astral astral. I can't think of anything i'm consciously preparing for. Maybe there is a hidden agenda to it though. Maybe i've been encouraged by a guide or something to do it. Maybe it's got something to do with all this 2012 stuff, who knows? All i know is it's fun and it's done nothing but good for me.

You are right Euphora. This reality is a dream and thus everything is possible.

Khuli follower, why do you walk? why do you talk? why do you study, play, agitate, work, depress, reply, ask ect. It has been a Human nature since the beginning to discover new things and implement them to thier lives to make them better. You do all the above things for a certain cause which is for your betterment. Thus everybody here trains in energy because they know that it can be done. So thay have the curiosity to find what will they be after success, what benefits will they have etc. Everybody knows that by energy development we can do some extraordinary things and thus we just want to do them. Those extraordinary things will furthur benefit us in many ways. It is the Human nature to explore new things and it will remain for eternity and no one can change it.

Many people in this forum seem to have a firm grasp on what they believe to be the possible with energy development.

I believe there really isn't any limit to energy development or appication for it and that this life is just like a training tutorial in spiritual energy,(not religious) it's just that some come to class and others don't.

It's like this, if you die and your energy goes somewhere else then there is an afterlife, right.  Then if your strength in the living world was reflected to the afterlife then you would retain your strength.  Now I am convinced that there are reasons for keeping your strength in the afterlife, so this life gives us a chance to empower ourselves before the real adventure,life,etc. happens.  Or it's all for nothing but nothing is for nothing.

I am going off topic though.  What I want to know is what everyone thinks is the possibilities for energy development and if they choose why do they believe and practice as they do?  What are they preparing for?  Is it strictly to improve themselves or is it for something else?  In short, what is their purpose?  What do they wish to achieve?
