What would cause pressure between the eyes? Driving today this evening to eat I felt a pressure between my eyes like I get sometimes when I meditate. But I was driving and not meditating so it wass odd and my head also felt balloony ? The eye pressure isn't really like pressure to say but more like if you hold your finger between your eyes and barely touch your skin you feel this sensation.
Is my energies wack or something for me to feel this while not meditating?
Some people would say that your brow chakra was active at that time, for whatever reason.

i've also been feeling "pressure" between my eyes and around my forehead when i meditate also. does it indicate that my brow chakra is becoming active?
It may mean that it is active, overactive, or blockages. But if it's not uncomfortable, chances are it's just active.

mmm i don't believe it's overactive, because i've only recently been exposed to all of this. i wouldn't call it uncomfortable, but that may just be because i am laying down and relaxed. it's just a weird feeling. what can cause blockages of the brow chakra?

"Being exposed to all this" has nothing to do with having an overactive chakra. If you read a lot, conceptualize things, and have a job that involves using your brain more than your hands you most probably have an overactive brow chakra. It has to do with the type of society we live in.
Back in the times of the hunter-gatherers, and to a point agriculture, most people had active base chakras, but in most modern society we have lost our connection to the land, as in we don't work with it or spend enough time in nature, and if you have an occupation that involves a lot of reading and figuring things out, you are using your brow chakra most of the time without realizing it.
There are many gradations of this, but you should have the picture by now.

lol ishi.
i wouldn't worry about it. it happens to me all the time and at the most random times. i like to think that an angel is rubbing her [CENSORED] on my head.
seriously though, when it happens it might be worth taking a moment to reflect on what thoughts and emotions you were experiencing at the time, and maybe even see if you're getting any kind of intuitive message. i have noticed over time that i can usually correlate the appearance of that tingly pressure with and intuitive message (which normally turns out to be right on the mark).
I've have the "pressure", off and on, on my forehead for pretty much as long as I can remember.
It's something I brought up waaaaaaaaay back when on a forum called SpiritOnline. We pretty much came to the conclusion it's an active brown center too.
Is it between your eyebrows or right between your eyes?
Between the eyebrows and above is the brow chakra.
If it's right between the eyes it could be your upper dantian or energy storage centre or whatever you want to call it. If you want to fill it up you could try and move the sensation a bit further into your head, up to about an inch. Roobert Bruce advises against this but doesnt go into detail of why.
Do you work on your brow chakra? The chakra sensation and dantian sensation feel distinctly different to me.
I've done this for extended periods a few times and on of them I started to see golden light emanating from my body. At first I thought maybe my eyes had opened a bit and it was just light creeping in so I opened them and could still see the light. It was a pretty awesome experience.

Robert Bruce advises against this but doesnt go into detail of why.
"The primary energy centres and their higher functions cannot properly be developed or used (barring accident or natural ability), until their underlying energy support structures have been developed to allow this. If attempts are made to develop and use the higher centres first, a great deal of time must be spent waiting for these support structures to develop in response to the new demands being placed upon them. The lower energetic circuitry will eventually develop in response to higher energetic demands but this will happen very slowly, often requiring many years of waiting time."

I don't know if this answers the question but it's something.
Thanks for the link. I hadnt read that. The book doesnt go into as much detail on that subject.
I'm not so scared by others warnings anymore. I just follow my intuition.
