the third eye chakra is not some magical chakra that all of a sudden gives you neat special abilities when you "open" it.

just so you know, not everything that you read is true (no matter how many times you see it repeated) ^_^

anyhow but opening you third eye is the easy part, developing it is more difficult

but energy raising and chakra stimulation will help increase your pyschic abilities, the very least it'll give you more vivid dreams,

you hafta learn how to know the difference between "pyschic intuition" and just plain "noise"

volconstone...can you explain me,in better detail,what you mean by developing third eye is more difficult.what other techniques,are connected with third eye.,in order to open  it  fully,and how long does it take.thx

I never heard that opening your third eye can help you levitate? Unless you mean, you have a projection and THEN levitate, float, or fly.

Actually I wouldn't know how to tell someone how to begin.  I think it is something that just starts to happen, ya know?  You get interested in certain things..you learn about them..and then your path just sorta leads to it... I started with meditation, fifteen years ago..but hey, that may not be the way to start..LOL.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I am psychic [] sounds pompous, but I know that over the years..I am becoming more aware..and lots of things have started happening, that I can't explain.

nay? Im lost, I can't find any references in this post concerning levitation,
but you most likely have to have ALL your chakras in balance to achieve levitation,


you can open your third eye easy, but its hard to get the "focus" down, the most difficult for me was getting human and animal auras to seperate into their full spectrum,    
I also seem to have better third vision with my glasses off

its difficult to get "advice" on psychic abilities, just search the web, its not very hard to find

well, i've looked at the wingmakers site before, and i personally don't agree with most of it.

and the other site, i've never seen that kind of information before, so it might be their own ideas on more advanced stuff. they could be right, of course, but well after reading through the rest of their site i'm inclined to disagree with much of what they have to say as well.

of course, i'm not the only or the best authority on the sites or the topics contained within the sites, so just because i disagree doesn't mean i'm right and they are wrong [|)]

i am suprize,that you didn't know,that chakras are one of the mothods,to achive spiritual development,including psychic abilities.at one point,you may not agree with me,because true is,that not every website,has additional informations,about chakras,and i don't blame you for that.for a long time,third eye waas  consider as spiritual point,to meditate on.the only question,i had is,how long should i meditate,to see some results,using third eye,and what websites may have good third eye meditations.

i do know about chakras, i just don't agree with the idea of the "eighth, ninth, tenth, eleventh, and twelth" chakras. but that's just my opinion

as for how long to meditate: well it seems to be different for everyone. for some people it is a few days, for others a few years.

so just keep doing it until it works or you give up from boredom ^_^

I got a bit disinterested with chakras, I don't think its a neccesity  to understand all "7" chakras for you to develop your energy body, or psi abilities,  

however chakra development is a very observable and easily learned concept, and in many cases its much easier to "feel" energy sensations and to understand the energy dynamics of your own body

I have been able to see other peoples chakras on occasion and I can "picture" a glowing ball of energy from my own chakras' when my eyes are shut

some people think that the "third" eye chakra is most important for psi abilities, but thats a folly, technically you could "see" with any of your other chakras, it'd just give you a different viewpoint

but opening the third eye wasn't very difficult for me, mainly cuz I would kind of develop my third eye when i was younger and completely ignorant of "what are all those cool colours?" happenings that I would see.

I really enjoyed that site on those psychic abilities. Most of the sites I've seen don't talk about things like time travel etc.

Does anybody know if these techniques really work?

Don't take this the wrong way, but just out of curiousity, why do you insert commas all over the place in your sentences?  Is it just that you think that you're placing them where they're supposed to go?

I mean, I read that sentence above, and traditionally, with a comma, you're supposed to pause before reading the rest of the sentence.  So I end up reading your sentence like this:
