Difference between Usui and Kundalini Reiki?

Usui Reiki is the original practice of Reiki so named after its founder - a buddhist monk named Mikao Usui.
There have been different variations of Reiki developed through the years, such as Seichim, as each Reiki master tends to have their own style which they will the pass on.

Consider though that Reiki is Reiki - a Japanese word who's literal translation is "universal life force (energy)". However it is practiced, whatever spin is put on it, it's still essentially the same stuff.

Any time you see "Usui" Reiki advertised, the master will be practicing the original / traditional system of Reiki.

I'd imagine "Kundalini" Reiki is a variant that adds in aspects of Indian Kundalini Yoga.

Whatever the case, it's all good stuff.
Just be wary of places who are offering expensive courses in all sorts of different styles of Reiki. That'd be just like someone trying to sell a model of Toyota for twice what its worth just because it comes in different  colors.

:-)
James.

Kundalini reiki level one is equal to Usui reiki 1-3. "Rei" means ghost/soul and "ki" means life force energy. But Reiki means healing energy.
