Ted Andrews speaks about this a little in Animal Speak and suggests practicing it. When you become good at it you can go unnoticed if you wish. You cannot really become invisible but it is more like not being noticed. I hear if someone is actually looking for you they will find you. Start practicing and see what happens.
Alice had got so much into the way of expecting nothing but out-of-the-way things to happen, that it seemed quite dull and stupid for life to go on in the common way.

Ive read stories of ninja's hiding in shadows, using intention and mind powers to help camoflauge themselves, If you're hiding in a corner and keep thinking "DON'T LOOK AT ME"
and you have enough skill, odds are you won't be seen

say someone does catch a glancing look at you, if you're able to move away, you could "convince" them it was just a figment of their imagination,

I think you could go unnoticed in crowds if you wish, blending into the crowd would be like hiding in the shadows of daylight
there was that x-files episode where that guy would stay in peoples blind spot

if you practised it well enough you  can easily sneak up on anybody

not invisibility but stealth skills, a ninja could be behind you right now.....

I recall a time when I was chillen with sum homies, and being the drunken fools that we where started to get  a bit rowdy,
I went for a tinkle break and over heard most of them conspiring to throw stuff at me when i got back,
so I doubled back and came behind them spooking the excrement right out of them, it was a full -moon night, and very easy to see me as i was wearing bright clothing at the time

I think the trick is always walk in the shadows, and never bring too much attention to yourself
Master splinter says "where you seen?"  "No master"
opinions are like kittens, just give 'em away

yes. i do that at times, and usually it is fairly effective in that people won't think to look where i'm hiding at. a few times people have even looked right at me and not noticed me, but those are rare times when i am very in tune with my self, my energy, and the area around me. [|)]

Logic

Maybe they saw you, but just thought you were weird and pretended like they didnt notice you [:D]
We are not truly lost, until we lose ourselves.

Hey Volcom,

No, I don't think it is hiding in shadows, at least that wasn't what i was trying to describe. I was trying to describe my theory that everything gives off energy (as most people ehre believe) and that what we see is their energy. Ands altering your energy to that energy would make you appear like that object.

Thank you all for the help and input. Any resources on this would be appreciated.

actually logic, after i stopped "hiding" they were surprised that i was there and that they didn't notice me.

i've also been able to walk up to and past people without them noticing it until i stopped "blending" into the background (metaphysically speaking).

Any hints, or techniques you can divulge or sites to got o Kakkarot?

the best advice i can give is that you should spend time being aware of yourself and your environment, of how you feel and how your environment feels, and then try to make yourself feel like your environment.

after that, the only thing i noticed in my own learning of it was that i had a tendancy for "anxiety", wondering if people would notice me or not. after i stopped being so anxious, i realized that i had not been blending into the background as much as i could have been, and so i was able to sink even deeper by calming my self. ie, try meditating for calmness before each "test run".

Hey Kakkarot,
Thanx for the advice, I will try an act on it, and be aware more.

To Liquidess_Shade:
Maybe you are interested in the book "Invisibility" - mastering the art of vanishing written by Steve Richards. Published in 1982, I don't know if it is still on the market but you could try libraries. (ISBN 0-85030-305-2).
The book contains lots of techniques from different backgrounds (yogic, magic, ... ) and is absolutely recommendable.

Liquidess_Shade

Thanx Jang, I will look for it

Polarity issues are involved. The faculty of sight exists only partially as a result of physical light. Nonphysical energies are involved in the process of cognition. Know the feeling of rays from people looking at you, and make them pass you by.

All shiny things are like eyes in that they emit these cognitive rays, too. Evading them will take care physical visibility.

Progressive detachment, in this sense, leads to other abilities. This has psychological consequences.
