Storing Energy in Objects?

Is it possible to move energy from your body to an object (such as a necklace) and store it in that object and then when you need the energy you can absorb the energy back into your body?

Kind of but not exactly. Metaphysical energies, being less exactly understood by most people in current times, cannot be dealt with as exactly as electricity. They act more like a cross between electricity and water, depending on which type of metaphysical energy you are dealing with. Astral Energy, or Prana, is like water vapor, and can be moved or shaped by focusing on it, getting passionate about it, breathing, and altering your state of mind while you do so. But it is difficult to store as is: when your focus is off of it, it tends to drift away. Aetheric Energy is more like sluggish, liquid water, that comes to a high tide during the 3 - 5 days of the full moon. It can be difficult to gather, you don't really collect water by grabbing it, but you can, over time, 'shape your aura' to become a 'deeper pool' so that when you do connect to an Aetheric flow, you can have more of it stay with you for longer periods. Chi is like highly charged (in the electrical sense) vapor. It tends to flow quickly and straightly. It can be stored, compressed, and both compressed and stored in your chakra-s.
Astral and Chi can be stored in objects, depending on the nature of the object.
 'Reabsorbing' is another question...rarely can the subtlety of the original Astral energy or Chi reoccur when it is brought out of an object - - - you are basically changing its state from vapor to crystalline to get it to stay in the object, so when you bring it out, unless you do almost as much work as generating/ summoning new Prana/  Chi, it generally stays like very cold liquid. You can use it for things, prayers, reality modifications, etc, but it takes a lot to be used by your body naturally again.
That being said, when you successfully store energy in an object, it changes the metaphysical nature of the object, and that's why most people do it, not to get the energy back again later.

The metaphysical nature of objects is determined by (a) the materials involved, (b) the conceptual momentum of the object-form, (c) the 'specialness' with which you consider the object.
Living and once-living materials tend to gather and permit the flow of Prana; animal remains (bones, horns, etc) tend to permit the flow of Chi, or, when properly prepared, to be deep pools of the Aetheric Fluid (such that the proper collections can be used as 'form-samples' to massively help in shape-shifting); metals tend to block flows of Prana and Chi. Using these principles together, you can cover some wood with some metal, and as the item moves through areas of Prana, the wood will collect it, but the metal will not let it out, and so it will build up. If the only 'exit' for the Prana from this object is a quartz crystal, the built-up Prana will be harmonized as it comes thru the crystal, coming out pre-focused and coherent, ready to be directed at anything. There is some connection between the electrical conductivity and preciousness of the metal and how it interacts with Prana/ Chi - - - the more conductive and precious, the better. Lead is almost like heavy plastic or glass where Prana or Chi are concerned, almost not there. Tin is almost exactly like plastic or glass. Copper is much better, Silver even better than that, and Gold best of all, depending on your purpose. Silver is connected to Aetheric Energy, aspected by the Moon. But care should be taken, because when you store Prana in Silver with a purpose, it retains that purpose almost forever. Gold is connected to Elemental Fire, aspected by the Sun. You don't store energy in Gold so much as you use the energy you were going to store to 'ignite' the Gold and give it an active purpose, and from then on it produces Prana/ Chi for that purpose. Then there are crystals. When you store Prana or Chi in a crystal, it doesn't really go into the crystal, it goes into a nearby Astral Layer which that crystal is connected to - - - which means that amazing 'amounts' of such energies can be put in and accessed by the crystal depending on its type (and what elements it is connected to).

I personally feel that it the conceptual momentum of precious and conductive metals that makes them interact with energy as well as they do. Basically, how large numbers of people think and feel about a subject (including materials and objects), impacts how that subject can be. So this can change depending on what area of the world you are in at the time.

The more special you consider the object to be, the better it will work for the purpose you have in mind, particularly if you take time to focus on the object, think about its specialness and its purpose, imagine it working the way that you want it to, and praise, bless, and thank the object and the world that they work this way....

All of that, of course, is only my opinion developed over 20 years of metaphysical activity, and your mileage may vary.

I beleive you absolutly can. The way I do this is simple, I carry around the object I wish to "imprint" as I call it, for however long usually feels right. While I carry the object I focus continualy and often times, unconsciously about what I wish to imprint, such as physical energy, a feeling of love, or a safety type of feeling and once I have acheived the desired amount of time, I leave it alone untill I wish to use it's imprint that I layed in it.

Every object carries a persons imprint. Whether it's a chair, a necklas, or even an outfit. This is why often times you will want to carry new things around you when you receive them to carry your spacific imprint instead of the pasts. This can be very helpful if you are prone to empathy, for you won't have to worry about a past experience in an object effecting your life in anyway other than helpful, or how you would like it to.

The only thing you need to do so is your mind, knowing you can, and allowing your energy to flow!

Be aware though if you focus a lot in one day on the object you may find that whatever you are flowing into the object may be less in you. for example, if you wish to flow understanding into an object and focus so hard on it all day, by the end of the day you may find yourself less understanding than usual, due to the transfer of energy, so simply watch yourself and make sure you don't over due it or at least allow yourself to replenish from time to time with a meditation or breathing exercise._{you are only limited by your own limits, expand such and you will progress}

I know data such as memories can be stored in objects, but I wouldn't know about energy. I imagine there are crystals that can do it. Which kinds, I'm not sure, but I'd look for ones that haven't been cut or processed much.
